How far back are you? -

Dusty said he should be able to be in the rotation the rest of the year. -
Ironman92Another rain delay.

Front row of the 2nd deck. Now that it's pouring, inside the club area haha -

Brantley said that Doumit "got all of" that ball that was caught but the wind held it up. Then the wind helped Votto's HR? Is it changing depending where the rain is? -
Ironman92Shouldn't be a long one at all....if it is there are just more cells that could hit.....could get it back going in 15-20 minutes or it could be a game that doesn't end until 7:30

ts1227More rain coming in behind it. Not that heavy, but they are basically refusing to play in any rain so who knows
-
mhs95_06When is the last time Janish hit one to the right of 2B? If I recall correctly, very early in his MLB career he had a game winning hit right down the RF line. Has he completely abandoned any efforts to go the other way?
-
mhs95_06Alonso could make good money just being a career pinch hitter.
-
mhs95_06The Grilli slider will probably take care of BP and the inning!
-
mhs95_06Reds three consecutive lefties offer no resistance to righty Veras.
-
mhs95_06If the Reds tie or better, looks like Frazier will be at SS. That or Cairo goes to SS and Frazier stays at 3B.
-
SportsAndLadyRamon!
-
mhs95_06Sappelt wouldn't gamble that the ball would fall, and score the lead run on Cairo's blooper.
-
mhs95_06BP for a DP and extras? Nope, hit it too weakly and got the lead RBI!
-
HereticTwo bad outings in three days by Hanrahan. That is a concern, as if he'd been himself, it would be definitely 2/3 and possibly a sweep, but instead, they have to come back in the bottom of the night to not lose the series.

mhs95_06Sappelt this week showed he isn't as good an outfielder as he seemed to be in his brief MLB career before this. Today he let the tying run, in Walker, get to 2nd by not giving his best attention to his hit to left after the big out stealing the play before. Earlier in the week he had some less than stellar plays throwing the wrong place, over throwing the cut-off, and not trying to catch a ball he should have tried for and probably got. I think he didn't try for it since he was sensitive to making bad plays earlier he didn't want to chance it.

His jumps are excellent....got his pocket picked and that should never happen in that 9th inning situation.
The Reds have been getting the calls of great importance the last few games.
The check swing called strike 3 on Bruce wax atrocious. That effin Davidson just does whatever the hell he wants. No way did he swing and Davidson had the gumption to not even check the 3rd base ump. Dusty didn't hardly care but defensive placement/bench coach Chris Speier threw a fit and got tosses....glad someone cares.
The Pirates SS taking a bad angle in the 9th was the difference in the game...he's gotta keep that ball in the IF.
