Dontrelle is one hard player to root against!
  • dave
He'll probably be in St Louis next year

Here is where Dusty bothers me. Hanigan had one of his best offensive days ever....and it's hard to imagine him playing tomorrow.....it's more OK for catchers...but he does it to everyone but about 4 of them.

Cairo deserves the start somewhere. I'm guessing Phillips at 2B tomorrow. Put him at 3rd and Frazier in LF

Real question is does Willis hit safely in 7 straight? I say most definitely so.

If he gets knocked out of the game due to bad pitching before his first plate appearance does that stop the hitting streak?

LOL good question....I'd think it would have to be an official ab

    Yes it would end it.

Actually I don't know....but a 7 game hitting streak.....he gets credit for playing in the game.....it would end it IMO

Why does Dusty insist on hitting Hernandez 8th?
  • dave
you have to keep the pitcher and catcher together

Yup guys who hit close to .300 belong at the bottom of the order

Leaving right now to go down, hopefully we get there before the Reds bat in the 3rd. Look for a homer in the 4th.

Ding dong Jay Bruce killed a 3 run shot.

Just me or is anyone else annoyed with Jim Day? He's a good post game host and in game reporter but not a good PxP guy.

Padres get an insurance run due to BP not being able to turn the DP to end the 7th due to a bobble after receiving the throw. Ouch, big run, especially with the Padre bullpen when they have the lead. We saw last night the Padre bullpen when they are behind isn't too good.

    Piss poor game going on.

Home plate umpire sucks....squeezed Dontrelle then rings up Renteria and Bruce on balls off the plate.

Joey Votto cost Phillips a hit and the Reds a run or so.....he is a brain dead baserunner way too often.

Bruce is on fire....bat Phillips 2nd and Bruce 4th

    And the play by Maybin...awesome
  • Ironman92
Dusty starting to wear off on the young guys....Alonso has hacked at some bad pitches on the first pitch 2 of the last 3 at bats.
  • Ironman92
Heavy rain probably cost Votto a 3 run HR....damn
  • Ironman92
    Cmon Phillips....do something!
  • Ironman92
2-0 pitch and Phillips swings at a ridiculous pitch....AWFUL approach....AGAIN
