Uggla Time

  • Ironman92
    Uggla is 3/3 with 2 HR...up to .229

    32 game streak
  • karen lotz
He's climbing in to the MVP race.
  • Ironman92
    He's now 29th
  • karen lotz
If he keeps a moderately hot pace, he has a decent chance of getting his average up to around his career average. All of his other numbers should be pretty close to his average season and he should set a career high for HRs, which is ridiculous for how bad he was for how long.

Who in our lifetimes has went 33+?

In the late 80's Paul Molitor got to 39

Jimmy Rollins got 36 or 38....cant remember.

    Benito Santiago 34?

    Nomar? Utley? Vlad?
  • Ironman92
^^^^ those are the ones I remember being longer....others that seemed like they went for 30 or more.... Jerome Walton got to 30 as a rookie in the late 80's. Hal Morris went over 30. Delino Deshields?

If/when he gets to Tuesday....he'll be the top story unless something gigantic happens.

Yes, I do. I was 10 at the time. Remember a lot of stuff vividly from that time.

    Damn you Barney.
  • karen lotz
that was a hell of a play.
  • Ironman92
That play is why it's so hard to go as long as he has...it's over.

Soriano made a pretty good running catch in the first inning on a broken bat pop up that went for a sac fly.
