Frazier gets the call on very bad technique at making the tag! He was really safe!

    Fowler was safe

The ump was in terrible position to make that call he was safe by a mile. MLB really needs to do something about these bad calls.

Wow....the Reds 4 different times made huge play to keep GarGo and Tulo from having several runners on base....good defense on 3 and a fortunate call on the last one.

Where did you expect him to go?

When you are that dumb you deserve to be out. Reds have had that happen several times this year. Ump had to stay back to call it fair/foul. New thread coming.

Why would he be calling fair or foul...the home plate ump calls it to the base and it was not hard....ump after realizing it was fair could've rotated just a few feet to have a better view of everything.

Base running killed the Rockies when you consider that call and CarGo up next.

Thats brilliant. The Home plate ump could handle/help with foul or fair he should have gotten in better position, he beat the tag by a mile and the ump couldn't see it.

On a ball hit hard enough to bounce over the bag, which that was, you are supposed to be on the line. Not making an excuse for the bad call, but he didn't have time to move, it was an immediate catch and tag.

I know where he is supposed to be I just simply believe when that ball was 20 feet from being fielded that the highly skilled umpire could've read it obviously fair and took a large step towards the home plate side of 3rd base dugout and witnessed the play without doubt....he obviously didn't see the play in full and guessed. The call went the Reds way and the ump ended the game prematurely. The risk of Fowler running was no where near the potential reward.

Make Cordero sweat over Cargo and Tulo.

It is a shame that the ump brought this very exciting and interest, but pretty meaningless, game to a premature end with that call!
