  Why do they not let the throw come to them on tag plays? You cannot catch and reach back as quick as you can catch on the base and quickly tag.

  Ramon was afraid to block the plate, can't really say I blame him. Hanigan makes that play though.

  The correct play is not to block the plate, but let the ball come to you and tag as quickly as possible to the back corner of the plate.
