Browns to upset Steelers??...Don't laugh

All I've heard the last month from Steelers fans..."If Palamalu played we'd be ok, if Palamalu played we'd be ok". The Super Bowl Champs great defense is relying solely on 1 person ??? Sad. Why doesn't another defensive player step up ? Can you say "underacheiving"?Ironman92 wrote: I said after the loss to the Bears (UGH) the the Steelers are the. team that can beat anyone and can lose to anyone.
All 12 games have been tight (were blowing out the freaking Chargers but they made it very interesting)....every single loss...we're very winnable.
Anyone can beat this team and without Polamalu.....the Steelers don't force any turnovers....remeber a play or 2 before the TD this week.....#27 lets an int hit him right between the numbers
The Browns winning would not be an upset. 5 of the 6 losses were either teh last play of the game or with just minimal seconds remaining.
I really am not a fan of Bruce Arians.
4-0 with Polamalu
2-4 without Polamalu
and the teams within those huge records are almost unbelievable -
Con_AlmaDon't they have a defensive end out also? A gut that draws double teams frequently and frees up those linebackers?
That end and Mr. Palamalu being out have really hurt the defense and this team in my opinion. -
ricolano--we don't want an upset!..and lose a top 3 pick? make the game competetive, fine. But losing out is the goal here.

Why would you drool over the #1 pick?fortfan wrote: It wouldn't surprise me. Just when you start drooling over having the #1 draft pick ...they go on a winning streak.
Do you not like to see your team win games, even if it's just a few a season? -
FootwedgeBrowns will win. The windy snowstorm forecasted is the great equalizer. Browns 20, Pittsburgh 10.

Ironman92Anyone with any clue that has watched the Steelers knows that with Polamalu the turnovers have been plentiful....without they are extremely rare.
With Polamalu the secondary is average or better....without they are bottom 5
The rush defense is great with Polamalu and average without him
Maybe the defense is underachieving.....but with Polamalu they are great agaisnt the run and the pass and force many turnovers....without him they are about the 20th best defense.
Personally, I can't believe how much of a difference him not playing has made...yes, it's just one player....but too many coincidences must mean something else.
Troy Polamalu, without any intelligent argument, is one of the very elite definsive players in football....and the Steelers are missing him tremendously.
All this being said....if Arians lets Dixon run some and doesn't Tressel the offense often....they are 8-4 at worst -

Wouldn't the windy snowstorm hurt you guys? Pittsburgh's secondary is decimated right now to the point just about anyone QB could shred them. Since Quinn doesn't have the strongest arm out there, I'd think poor passing conditions would dramatically effect his ability to move the ball with his arm.Footwedge wrote: Browns will win. Ironman92Roethlisberger having 3 Red Zone turnovers in the last few games he's played.....kickoffs for TD's....Arians....all significant factors in losing...also
14 qtrs with Polamalu.....11 turnovers forced
34 qtrs without Polamalu...5 turnovers forced
4th qtrs that Polamalu has played........defense gives up 2.3 pts per
4th qtrs that Polamalu has not played...defense gives up 10 pts per -
thavoiceI agree...browns will beat the steelers thursday nite..guarenteed

I don't think so. Neither team has run the ball worth squat. The worse the conditions...the better the Browns chances are.Heretic wrote:

Roethlesberger's arm has always killed the Browns. Wind and snow=great equalizer. -
