Me too. The Bengals already have Jordan Shipley or id love to have Dane. Dude is a gamer, great character guy, very smart, and runs good routes. Was honestly shocked he wasn't drafted, but hell be a solid pro.

Sanz' leaping and off-balance catching abilities are ahead of most others black or white. He'll get a look...guar-on-teed.

The Chicago Bears landed one of the prizes of the undrafted free agent class Tuesday morning when Ohio State receiver Dane Sanzenbacher agreed to terms with the team.

Sanzenbacher was one of the most pursued undrafted free agents. His agent Joe Flanagan said Sanzenbacher had been sought by 25 of the 32 NFL teams, and he received phone calls from team owners and quarterbacks offering sales pitches to his client.

...and he received phone calls from team owners and quarterbacks offering sales pitches to his client. ...
    That's pretty cool.

An even better sales pitch would be, " We will pay you more than them."

Should be a good fit with Martz.

    The bears other wrs suck

Sanzenbacher has a lot of intangibles....He's smart, he plays hard, he's not a prima donna, and he's a winner.
Yeah, I'd take a flyer on him.

He was always a Buckeye I liked. I am also a Bears fan (gasp, not a Browns fan!). I think it was a good pick up. The Bears really need a big-time receiver, but they just don't have the money for it right now.

The thing I always noticed about Sanz was getting right up after he got his world rocked over the middle. He took a lot of licks.

If Hartline can make it in the league I don't see why Dane couldn't.

...while hanging onto the ball. IMO, he's the epitome of a possession receiver, and I think he's going to make an excellent pro....Toledo Pride!!!

    Sanz update...

BOURBONNAIS — It was difficult to not notice undrafted rookie wide receiver Dane Sanzenbacher during the Bears’ muggy Monday night practice, their first with pads.

The 5-foot-11, 180-pounder from Ohio State is one of the smaller players in camp, but he made several big plays on a still, humid night under the lights. A couple of deep sideline routes and another couple in the middle of the field, flashing sure hands and enough quickness to create separation.

“That’s what you expect from a Buckeye,” said coach Lovie Smith, who coached linebackers at Ohio State in 1995. “He had a lot of different opportunities coming in, and he chose us.

“He’s a good football player. We want to get the players in game-type situations, and he’s making the most of it.

    “We all noticed him tonight.”

One of those players is undrafted rookie free agent Dane Sanzenbacher, who might end up being more than your standard training camp myth.

Wide receiver Dane Sanzenbacher has made a good early impression at Bears training camp. The buzz around Sanzenbacher, a first team All-Big Ten choice last year at Ohio State, is real.

So real, in fact, he is challenging Earl Bennett for first team reps in the slot.

"Seeing is believing," Bears receivers coach Darryl Drake said. "You can't minimize the fact he's done some good things. I'm not. You know, this game is based on production. The opportunities are based on production. Now, he's got to go out there in the preseason and prove it against other people, but he's going against some pretty good guys now.

"I'm trying to put him in the most stressful situations I can put him in."

Gruden even Praised Pryor as a QB.

I wonder if Gruden also gets paid by Under Armor, the Swoosh, along with the "Mother Ship".
