Check that, Ramon only credited with a single and to 2nd on the throw! Kind of styrange to drive in a run from 3 bases away on a single, but I think that was the proper scoring decision as slow as Ramon is and him only going for 2nd when the throw went home.

    11 + 19 = 30

Homer tries to go to the oppo well again and makes a good bid for a 2 run lead.
  • mhs95_06
Homer thru 4 with 57 pitches.
  • mhs95_06
Big Brewer inning in the making as 8,9 reach to lead off the 5th.

I'm tired of Homer Bailey in the rotation
  • mhs95_06
Weeks makes him pay for to the 8,9 debacle, unlike Reds hitters have made Narveson pay in a couple instances.
  • Midstate01
I fucking HATE weeks. Everything about him!!
  • mhs95_06
    Get Carlos ready!
  • Rotinaj
Awesome keep giving weeks fastballs down the middle. Is this dude hitting like .800 against us this year?
  • Ironman92
How can any one of you guys be surprised Weeks killed it? Are you shocked when Prince swings hard?

Many things about the Reds suck.
  • mhs95_06
Bruce with a bad play air mailing the cut-off on a throw home that was hopeless as far as any chance of cutting off the run.
  • mhs95_06
Anyone else lose access to OC? Over the last 10 minutes.

Same old Homer Bailey, once a headcase, always a headcase. Any sign of adversity and he cracks.

So many thing about the Reds are predictable. That is definately one of them. We could probably list 30 or 40

I'm about ready to start rooting for the Pirates.

Good job by Votto, BP, and Dusty! Now Jay, don't entertain any ideas of tying it, just try for a hit to left and one RBI to put the tying run on.

Room left on the Braves bandwagon.

The Braves have been my 2nd team since the days of Bob Horner, Chris Chambliss, Rafael Ramirez, Glenn Hubbard, Dale Murphy, Claudell Washington, Bruce Benedict, Brett Butler, Pascual Perez, Gene Garber, Craig McMurtry, Rick Camp and others.

I thought I remembered you saying that before.
  • mhs95_06
After 1st and 3rd and no out, the next three batters hit it hard, but all 3 make outs, and they are lucky to get one run in and cut it to 5-3.
  • mhs95_06
Hopefully Dusty was smart enough tonight to put Renteria in the #9 hole and Masset in Gomes #6 spot.

Dont like pinch hitting for Cozart there. You brought the kid up, see what he's got.
  • se-alum
Ramon goes oppo to get a run back...

We saw what he's got the AB before, his most critical of the night, when the 1st two Reds reached after the Weeks 3 run HR the half inning before. On the first pitch he makes 2 outs on one swing and takes the team out of the inning. Good move by Dusty as the righty would have eaten up Cozart with the slider.

Remember Dusty's rule, only put the young guys in when there's a good chance they can succeed.
