Reds @ Cardinals....Game 3
-
thavoiceMark it down, Renteria will be productive at the plate tonite.
It just wont last long though -
HereticDefine "productive", so we can grade your prediction at approximately 11 p.m. or so.
-
thavoiceThat will be for me to decide after the game.
-
swamisezRenteria will go 1-4, and will have a 10 pitch at bat. I would call that a productive night for a 2 hole hitter of Renteria's caliber. He ain't Jeter.
-
thavoiceKidding, of course.
On base twice or more, whether it be a hit or BB/HBP. Maybe a sac bunt, or some sort of out that brings in a run whether it be a sac fly, squeeze or ground out with a guy on third with less than two outs.
0 or 1 K, and the K will occur when someone isnt in scoring position.
Those will be easy to track.
Deap in the counts. -
Ironman92Deap? lulz
-
thavoiceVery deap.
and deep as well. -
Ironman92Was it you that got pissed about 5 years ago at this time on the huddle when I made the following thread: Roy Oswalt to the Reds in 3 team trade!!! ???
-
thavoiceYou asking me?
I highly doubt it. I am a defense and pitching guy. If Oswalt was still pitching well, and I think he was at that time, I woulda almost assuredly been cool with bringing him to the reds.
Now, it will be difficult to guage it now, whom did you propose the reds give up? -
se-alumI think Dusty should put Hanigan in the 2-hole. Good contact hitter, and bound to get some good pitches in front of Votto.
-
wildcats20Edgar may have a productive night, but we ALL know BP won't in the 4 spot.
-
daveThat god classic dusty is back. CF leads off, SS bats second.
Glad Heisey and Lewis are in, hope they start until the break. -
wildcats20Also Dusty said D Train being taken off his start tonight "could be" related to the Reds.
WTF Dusty? -
daveSounds like they haven't told Volquez yet. Dusty I'm sure will want to talk to him face to face before an announcement is made.
-
SportsAndLadyIn more positive news..which is desperately needed in this depressing sack of shit thread..ill be watching the game tonight so the reds will win this one
-
wildcats20Walt has since said that Willis will be pitching tonight, but in relief of Wood.
-
wildcats20And that Edinson will be making the start on Sunday.

It was a joke thread to fool some folks. Back then alwaysafan provided links but often stuff was not given a link. I made it up and said it had been done....I forget who was in it but know Miguel Cabrera was a major part of it going to the Astros and several prospects went to the Marlins....I made it pretty believable and several went along with it and someone that knew his stuff called me on it (red mania or storman warman) and you got on and ripped into me for making a false thread. It seems like it was "thevoice"....if that was you then. -
davefirst pitch!
-
wildcats20Hot damn!! lol
And followed up by a nice single by Edgar. -
daveomg an offense
-
wildcats20WTF.
I don't know who this team is?!?!?!?!?!
BP with a TRIPLE to right, scoring both Edgar and Joey. -
davelmao
-
mhs95_06That's the best sign for the Reds in this game so far. Clean-up hitter Phillips goes the opposite way in his first AB with 2 on.
