Haha I make a joke and you respond with some superior response "oh some of us can multitask"

    You're just the worst

Ironman I actually like bautista, his response on that pitch was warranted IMO...it was a ball and the difference between 3-1 and 2-2 in a 1 run game is huge...he understands that and showed some emotion...I like em

Haha, it's whatever man. If I would have known it would have offended you this much, I wouldn't have said it. I mean heck, you're talking about putting your balls on her face. I would have figured you'd be a little bit better of a sport?

    Let's just let it go.

The bottom of the 9th was pretty painless for once! Coco usually fools around for about 5-10 minutes before he starts getting serious
  • Ironman92
Oh...I like him a lot...but those occasions come about fairly often ....always being like that I can see some calls going against him.
  • jordo212000
Yeah I don't mind Bautista as a player either. Just find the constant bickering he does to the umpire to be irritating.

Thank God for Miggy. These Toronto pitchers must love facing lineups with 5 or 6 mlb quality hitters after facing the Yanks, Sox, etc.

Coco has a 0.84 whip, you must have short term memory from just last time he pitched.

I think I am still having flashbacks from last year.

Renturdria is starting to come around it looks like, just enough that he will keep his platoon job. Just saw the Reds miss Burnett and CC this series.

I keep saying I would love to see them designate him for assignment. Get Cozart up here. Time to quit fooling around. The season is almost half over. We can't continue to keep sticking guys in at SS who hit below .230

I've given up hope on that. It's going to take an injury to Janish or Edgar. ER's hits will start dropping in though I think.

    Pujols hurt!

F! I'm torn because I have him on my fantasy team. However, I think I could live with him going bye bye for a month or 2, if it meant it would benefit the Reds.

    What happened to him?
  • jordo212000
Looks like it is his wrist? Nothing posted on ESPN yet, just in the game notes of today's running score
  • dave
grounder to second, throw up the line and Pujols' arm collided with the baserunner.

    Darn what a shame......................

Does Janish have options remaining? I guess that would be another option if we are dead set on keeping Edgar's slumping bat on the active roster.

To me it just doesn't make sense to keep him around. He isn't a defensive upgrade and he has been atrocious at the plate. I know some like the fact that he has some World Series experience, but we can kiss the playoffs goodbye if we keep playing like this. Our offense has scuffled a bit lately and the SS position has been drain for waaay too long. Besides, the guys have playoff experience now, and it already seems as if Votto and Rolen are the unquestioned leaders. Renteria isn't a leader and he isn't Orlando Cabrera who always seemed like he was giving a pep talk to somebody.
  • dave
    yes he has options.
  • jordo212000
It always amazes me how differently Dusty handles vets and young guys. He's stuck with Gomes, Renteria, and Janish all year, but young guys only get limited chances to prove themselves. Cowboy was critical of his handling of Heisey last night
