Minnesota Twins @ Cleveland Indians Series

dazedconfusedwhen does the super 2 end? we need somebody from columbus to give us a spark. this is terrible to watch right now

hoops23No team who has lost 5 games in a row has won the World Series since the 2010 SF Giants.
This season is DONE. -
Swamp FoxI wouldn't write off the Indians quite yet, but I guess my question would be, did we expect that the Tribe was going to come in and run rough-shod over the rest of the AL and cruise into the WS and bring the Championship back to Cleveland, or did we hope for a .500 season and a little hope to be mixed in with the years of disappointment that have been endured by Indian fans in the last decade or so? While the Indian slide is disturbing, it certainly isn't unprecedented and the Twins are not a 22-37 ball club when they are healthy, and now they are starting to play better. The Indians simply have to find a way to get a win this series and move on from there. Yes, the Yankees will be very difficult, but the Tigers are capable of losing six or seven for no good reason at any point along the way. If you don't think so, just ask the thousands of long suffering Tiger fans, They will tell you.

He's on the payroll. He really can't say what he feels. He's not Marty Brennaman. But..he isn't far off. I saw the standings today and really couldn't believe they were still 8 or 9 games over .500. I'm still hopeful.
This team needs a healthy Pronk producing in the middle of the order. Is he still 2 weeks out? If they can somehow weather the storm until then, he would be a big addition to this lineup. -
MulvaWes Hodges was released today to sign Nick Johnson to the minors. Hodges looked promising his first couple years in the minors out of Georgia Tech (07 and 08), but he's sucked ass this year and never really put up any numbers at the AAA level.

BRFTwo on and 27 outs to go!
Go Tribe! -
DeadliestWarrior34Well looky here. Ol' Carlos "rallykiller" Santana doing it again.
-
BRFGeez, a blown chance to get up. Imagine that! 24 outs to go.
-
DeadliestWarrior34Shucks. I was really looking forward to a shutout.
-
wes_mantoothhell of a nice job of regrouping by Carrassco
-
BRFB6 and hit time!
Great job by Carlos C.
Go Tribe! -
DeadliestWarrior34Seriously. Us hitting hard liners in the infield and getting doubled up happens at least once a game.

daveCC appears to be in 2007 form

Yeah, I'm not sure what his pitch count was because I just got off, but Hammy was talking about how dominant he's been... I would have kept him in. CP has pitched once in the last 20 weeks -
royal_kHe was right around 105 pitches.
-
royal_kLike I said...good move Manny.
And the losing streak is over! -
hoops23Well, CP looked pretty damn good there. His slider had a great hook and the fastball was pumping 95...
Feels good to win again -
davesolid win with a little luck.
-
TBone14Ballgame. Glittering Wahoo please. Get one tomorrow, win a series, and let's roll.
-
BRFBAM! 1-0 to stop the bleeding!
-
royal_kThis was one of, if not the best, starting performance by Tribe pitcher this year. This is why the organization is so high on Carrasco. He was dominant.
