US-Spain Friendly, June 4 4:30pm

No starting lineups yet, but it looks like all the big guns are available for this one, sans one - Donovan will be out with illness. Looking forward to seeing Agudelo out there, and heck, the whole team since I haven't seen much since last summer. Go USA!

    3-0, ouch
  • Midstate01
USA only trying to play the long ball. Spain does it all. And quickly!! They are fun to watch. But seeing USA get hammered isn't fun, so I'm turning it.

To be fair they are missing 4 of their top players and have a young unit out there who has made a lot of mistakes. Not making excuses just saying.

Spain is good. We will have a better idea of where we stand in the next game. Plus, not having Donovan is a HUGE blow. We dont have the depth to make up for out playmaker like Spain does with Iniesta and Xavi out.

Also missing Dempsey, Bradley and Bocanegra

Against Canada? What is that going to show?

Well, I meant more that we will have a more realistic line-up to what we will see in the Gold Cup, at least that was the initial plan. Who knows what Bradley will do though. But if Landon isnt still sick, I assume he will get a half of play in, at least.

I didn't expect the US to win, but I at least thought some of the new faces would show something. Wynalda was dead on....not enough effort regarding closing down space.

Why does Sacha Kljestan continue to see time with the national team? He sucks, he has always sucked. I can't believe he plays in Europe.
