So finally can watch on my ps3. But why isn't it in hd?? Anyone know??

Mine looks perfect. Hasn't had any pixelation or freezes or anything tonight so far. Which game are you trying to watch? I'll check that game to see if its like that for me too.

Reds. Freezes every 5 or 10 seconds. It's awful!! In perfect HD on the iPad and vudu is working just fine too.
  • karen lotz
Ah, I can't watch that game or Indians or Tigers due to their blackout restrictions. Have you tried other games? Check out Houston/Atlanta, the Peachtree TV feed should be HD.

    I'll check it out

If those don't work, go to the support forums and see if there are any issues with the system currently. I know they were having all sorts of quality issues with the PS3 app at the beginning of the season and they were working on a solution. Does your screen have a blue border about an inch thick all the way around it? Mine did earlier but its since been removed and it coincided with the improved picture quality.

Same thing on that game. My net speed is great too. I didn't need to redownload mlbtv did I. Technically it's from last year.

Every once in a while the pic will look really good and not freeze. Then it does it again. May try using the Ethernet instead of wireless to see if that changes it.

Umm, there was a new version this year but I thought it automatically downloaded when I first logged in.

I'm at 7.7 Mbps download speed
    And 590 upload speed.

    Seems plenty fast enough

Wired though it's 10.3. So we will see if that's better.
  • karen lotz
Yeah, that should be plenty. How close is the PS3 in relation to the router?
  • Midstate01
    15 feet tops
  • Midstate01
And it's an $165 gaming router. Picture looks great now. I'll wire it when games are on if need be. No biggy

lol, yeah I don't know what to tell you then. I had all the same issues you are having for a couple weeks after opening day and then all of a sudden it started working perfectly. I tried to see if there was a version number for the PS3 app I have currently but can't find anything. I'd maybe contact support or post on the forum I posted earlier. You will get stock answers like "What is your bandwidth speed" at first but eventually they will help you out.

I also saw on those forums that some people are getting a $5 refund due to the PSN outage so that is something to look forward to.

Push triangle on the app when it's not open. And hit information.

K I'll check it out after this half inning.
  • karen lotz
Mine says it was created July 4th of last year and there is no update date. It is version 2.01 though.
  • Midstate01
    Yea2.01. Mine says updated.
Btw it looks crystal clear now!!
  • karen lotz
That sucks you have to wire it for it to work, but at least it is working. Do you ever have any problems with streaming anything else on your PS3?

No vudu looks great and I even buy the HDX versions. Play games online with no issues. Idk what was up. Tomorrow I'll try running it wirelessly again to see what happens.
