They are still looking. It is probably a good idea but I don't think it would be deserved. They had two chances and failed twice already. -
Skyhook79Hard to believe one of the biggest markets in the USA does not have an NFL team.

The Cleveland Rams moved out there and won championship. -
thavoiceDid not know that.
BUt as we all know...the best way to win a title is to leave cleveland. Browns......Kosar....Manny....(brandon phillips when the reds win it).......James when the Heat win...marc Edwards...and many, many, many players who have left cleveland only to win a title elsewhere. -

And Brian Sipe, and Mark Price, and Albert Belle....oh wait, they were still losers after they left Cleveland. -

You know.... there is a..... thing called..... a comma.... so you don't have to follow everything you say with..... three or four periods.... You can also end a sentence..... with one.... period...or even... a question.... mark... that is only if.... you are asking.... a question... though. -

Sometimes?.... More like every time you don't "us it...................................."
It's ok though, keep it up. It's a good reflection of your (lack of) intelligence. -

Is that even the best option for LA though? Of the two I'm more partial to Farmers Field at the LA Live complex. They want to be able to host Super Bowls/Final Four events and this would definitely be capable.

They have failed twice to support good teams -- why should they be given yet another chance?
Those folks care more about surfing and who is being nominated for an Oscar than they do pro football, so why waste more time and money giving them yet another opportunity to fail miserably.
If they are that into football, let them adopt one of the other California teams. -

Man, I don't know. Placing a football stadium right next to the Staples Center is not a good idea imo. That city is already crowded. As for LA getting a team, I don't think they should. There are already 3 teams in California, and as everyone else has stated, LA had their chance twice, and failed twice. I would only support it if the Raiders move back, but that is about it. There are other states/cities that would show much greater support for a football team than LA. -

So, how many chances is the NFL going to give Cleveland? -

I gotta say it.... Pwned. -

They won't have to worry about that, because their fans actually support the team. There is a reason why the NFL didn't allow Art Modell to take the team name, history, colors, etc to Baltimore with him. Not surprised your stupidity led you to a failed attempt at wit (see dictionary for definition). -

Of the two plans I think the Los Angeles Football Stadium is a more solid plan. The Farmer's Field group is still a few years away from being able to build while the LA Stadium group is ready as soon as the NFL commits to move a team there. Now if there is no plans to move a team for a few years then Farmer's Field comes back into play but right now LA Stadium is the best option. Plus a lot of the newer stadiums aren't being built downtown. They're out aways from the city to get away from the congestion.
Of course it's also possible that LA gets two teams. I'd say the front runners for moving there are the Raiders and the Chargers since the Vikings just got a new stadium. Part of the reason teams have failed there before is that they were forced to play in an out-dated and huge Coliseum. Also it's not like Oakland is doing any better at supporting a team, they were last in attendance last season. -
AcesinCaliforniaI live in the LA TV market, and this comes up from time to time in the media here. Money talks, and they will eventually get a team back here, either in LA proper or perhaps even in Orange County. Whether enough fans will go is the major question. A consistent winner would probably make money, but if the team isn't that successful early, the fans will avoid it like the plague. Most of the NFL fans out here (those that advertise it) are still Raider fans, with a fairly strong following for the Chargers in Orange County. The Raider fans I know are fans more for the image/cool merchandise than the actual quality of play. If they brought a team here and tapped into that style (even over quality of play), they might draw enough/sell enough merchandise to make money. If they bring the Jags (or anyone else) to LA, they should change their colors to silver and black (I'm being serious).
