Tribe - Rays; May 10-12

iclfan2Another pitching change. Gotta go listen to it on the radio now. Hopefully they pull this out. #GoTribe
-
royal_kAnother double play.......
-
royal_kHope all of the missed opportunities don't come back to haunt the Tribe tonight.
4-4 bottom of 8 -
burt07Nice double by LaPorta to lead off the 8th, let's get him home!
-
burt07Ugh, not sure what Grady was doing just reaching for that one, just needed a flyball.
-
burt07Too many blown opportunities tonight it seems like, will take some more magic to pull this one out.
-
royal_kI think they are like 1-13 with runners in scoring position and have grounded into 3 double plays.

TBone14In regards to attendance...I have always went to Indians games. From NW Ohio, I have made a minimum of 4-5 trips over to games every year since 95. It started with my dad taking me with his buddies and his kids and as an adult I have continued to go on my own with my friends and my now wife. In 2007, I went to game 2 vs the Yankees (bug game), had tickets to game 5, but it wasn't necessary. Went to game 5 vs Boston, Beckett vs CC, the first of 3 straight losses to blow that series.
I went to no games in 08 because I spent the entire summer in Vegas. Went to my normal 5 games in 09. Last year, I went to 0 games for the first time since I was 7 years old in 1994. I was so frustarted with the team, I had no desire to even make the drive over there. I had planned on not going to any games this year, but this start has me bought back in, in terms of attendance. I always watch on TV, regardless of how they are doing, but going to games is different. I am going to the Friday and Saturday games this home stand vs the Mariners and have plans on making a couple more trips this summer.
What am I trying to say? Give the fans a chance to get back to the yard. Considering I have gone to over 60 games from across the state, I would consider myself a loyal fan, and even I didn't go to a game last season. I have my tickets now and I'm sure there are a lot of other people like me. Attendance will rise if they continue to play well. -
Laley23This has been a bad display of getting the runners in from 3rd with less than two outs.
-
TBone14I'd be cool with this cat walking 4 straight guys.
-
royal_kHere we go...
-
burt07Choo was bound and determined to get to 3rd there. JUST NEED A FLYBALL.
-
Laley23If the Tribe fucks this up, I will be irate.
Assume it will be up to the ole geezer after the IBB to Pronk. -
TBone14Flyball Papa O. Just a flyball.
-
burt07The Bruce and Chuck commercial might be the worst thing ever made for television.
-
TBone14Love the 5 man infield. Don't know why more teams don't do it. Way better chance of cutting off a single up the middle than throwing out a guy tagging at home.
-
burt07That was the most Kyle Farnsworth thing ever. LOVE IT.

Guy I work with (we cover HS sports) hss a rule that if he coaches softball, the girls are neevr allowed to throw the ball. Either run to the base, tag the runner, or strikeout for the out. In baseball, 5 infielders and 2 outfielders since, "everyone sucks and cant hit it to the outfield anyway" lol -

LoL. True dat. 14 straight at the Prog. Gotta love it. -
royal_k11th walk wins the game! LOL
-
Cleveland BuckA walk is the only way we would have scored with the bases loaded and no one out.
-
THE4RINGZA walk off walk.
Way to go Tribe -
Laley235.5, Royals took the loss today (also 5.5 once Detroit finishes up this game versus Minny). Detroit is the team I worry about in second now, they are on fire!
-
JerseyBuckIt's completely fitting that the Indians won that game on a walk.

NW Ohio here as well. I've was at the grand slam walk off against the Tigers this year and plan on seeing a few more. I'm about as die hard as they come and watch every game, work permitting. The attendance will pick up as the weather gets better if they keep playing good baseball.TBone14;764672 wrote:In regards to attendance...I have always went to Indians games.
