killer_ewokPretty good list but I wouldn't have Romo on there.

Commander of AwesomeI'm amazed BSPN managed to keep Sanchez off the list, thankfully. Romo and Eli have no business on the list. Rivers should be higher as well.

This.
Rivers is a hell of a QB. Id put him ahead of Big Ben -

Agreed, and that's not a knock on Ben, I just think Rivers is a better/more complete QB. Also Mick Vick has one good 12/13 game season and all of a sudden he's a top 7 QB? Please do it for more than one season and we'll talk. -

Everyone ahead of Rivers has a ring or rings. He may be a better passer (Rivers), but until he gets a ring he's not a better QB. And yeah you could say "what about Eli", but Eli's Super Bowl ring came because of his unbelievable defensive effort and one flukey play and you'll be hard pressed to get anyone to say he's anything more than an above average passer and nothing more. -

I agree, no knock on Ben, Rivers has a few good years left, and I hope he wins himself a SB, thought he was going to get one this year.
And Vick, if he couldnt run, he wouldnt even be on that list. Sure he can sling it, but he cant do it consistently. -

Did you even watch him this season? He barely ran the ball at all, he was threadin needles all over the field. I agree it hasnt been consistent thoughcoyotes22;759198 wrote:I agree, no knock on Ben, Rivers has a few good years left, and I hope he wins himself a SB, thought he was going to get one this year.

royal_kI would also have Rogers at the top. If I were starting a team today, he would be my pick.

georgemc80Im not a Houston homer (even though it sounds like it) but Matt Schaub is one of the ten best QBs in the game. He is better than Ryan, Flacco, Eli, and Romo.
-
Commander of AwesomeMy problem with Shuab is that he can't stay healthy for a full season.

Give those 4 QBs Andre Johnson, and they would be doing the same things as Schaub just much better. -
BR1986FBSchaub is a great stat padder but if there's under 2:00 left and you need a win, he wouldn't be my choice. Excellent fantasy football QB, but that's about it IMO.

Agreed.
Sanchez will be on this list soon enough. He IS a QB I'd want to have the ball with under 2:00 left needing a score to win. He wouldn't be my first choice in that situation but he does excel in it. -

I agree with that on Sanchez. Wasn't sold on him at all but he showed me a lot in crucial, game deciding situations. He should only get better. -

He's also young. This past season is only his 3rd season as a starting QB since HS. -
HereticI'd agree that on pure talent, Rivers should be near or at the top of the list. I think he's hurt by having no real playoff success to go with his great regular season numbers. And considering the list was compiled by the ENTERTAINMENT Sports Programming Network, the way he tends to come off as a totally unlikeable prick a couple times a year when something goes wrong could have been used against him.

36 consecutive starts would seem to debunk that myth.
Over the last two years, there has been 1 occasion where Schaub failed when in that situation. All the others he was plagued by other's failures. '(09 season, two fumbles going into the end zone in the last minute of the game that wins or ties....4 missed FGs that would have won or tied) ('10 season, slant pass to Andre Johnson who inexplicably drops it and kicks it into the air for an interception....the worst defense in history...and a bad interception during overtime against the Ravens)
To address the Johnson argument...Johnson is the best in the league. He is also the main weapon over the last two years with the injury to Owen Daniels. He garners alot of attention. I am hoping the emergence of Arian Foster brings Andre Johnson more yards
