Tribe vs. Twinkies...the series.

BRFI listen on the radio a lot, probably 75 percent of Tribe games. Rosenhaus is all right, nothing spectacular, but I can see how someone who doesn't listen to the radio much would dial in, hear him and think he was an opponent's broadcaster. Speaking of radio, boy Hammy went nuts on Grady's homer! You woulda thought that it was a close game! Man, rider1, I'm feelin' the ice!

THE4RINGZLike BRF I listen to most games as opposed to watching them. (Shameless WQKT plug here, please visit Lehman's in Kidron) . Rosenhaus is good but compared to Hamilton it is no match. Love hearing Tommy call a deep drive to right and wetting his pants right up until he realizes it dies a dozen feet in front of the warming track.

I probably listen to radio 90% of games, Indians, Reds, in day games. At night I'll listen to Yankees, Mets, red sux, Orioles, Blue Jays, Phillies, White Sox, Cubs, Twins, and Cards if they come in. Used to listen to Tigers and Pirates but they went to low watt stations. Ringz, I have even ( don't tell anyone ) listened to stillers games and Myron Kope with his terrible towels and Interceptiverdi commentary. -
MulvaCarl Pavano is a bum. We better win by at least 30 runs tomorrow.

BRF
Right. This reminds me of when Herb Score was calling games. "There's a long drive, deep to left, it's going...............AND he reaches up and grabs it."THE4RINGZ;748495 wrote:Love hearing Tommy call a deep drive to right and wetting his pants right up until he realizes it dies a dozen feet in front of the warming track.
I tell you what, riders1 is a stats man and game following freak (and I mean that in a nice way). He just proved it with his last post. BRF would NEVER take the time to listen to some other stupid game that didn't involve his HOMEY teams!.....on any level. ha ha! -

Yah I was working on something while I listened to the game and when Grady hit that homer I looked up and had to check the score because it sounded like he just tied the game or something. Gotta love Hammy.BRF;748486 wrote:I listen on the radio a lot, probably 75 percent of Tribe games. And I don't know why but for some reason I was thinking they'd do an old fashioned Sunday double-header, hence the "we can win the series" comment. Hasn't been my sharpest day. -
BRF
When I heard that the game was cancelled and that it was going to be a day game, I was thinking the same thing.grodt;748559 wrote:

OQBGotta bounce back from this 2 game losing streak....

HitsRus
Put Hits down with that. I could care less about what goes on elsewhere. It's bad enough I waste the time and money on the local teams.BRF would NEVER take the time to listen to some other stupid game that didn't involve his HOMEY teams!.....on any level. ha ha! -
TBone14Tommy had a great call earlier this year on a Pronk homer vs the Orioles I believe. It was cold and the wind was blowing in and he was talking about the wind knocking down balls all night. Well Pronk got into one and he said something like, "Swing and drive, WAAAY Back. WILL MOTHER NATURE HOLD THIS ONE BACK!?!?!?!?! NO!!! ITS GONE!!!" I was laughing so hard in the car.

I would hope so, Pavano actually pitched pretty well against the Tribe last year, one of them coming on the old uniform day. Because of his glorious mustache last year he literally looked like a player straight from the 1900's. -
DeadliestWarrior34You don't challenge Choo!
-
DeadliestWarrior34Back to the same old crappy Indians, but you still don't chellenge Choo.
-
dazedconfusedgood thing the twins are morons...it should at least be 3-0 and minnesota should still be batting with two runners on
-
Laley23When are teams gonna learn, lol. Accurate and strong is a deadly combination for a right field arm.
Tribe trying to respond here with 2 on and 1 out. -
dazedconfuseddamn it, minnesota...design a better ballpark lol
-
BR1986FBBrantley's 3R HR is likely gonna be overturned and credited as a 2R double. Tribe will still be up 3-2...
-
Laley23Fuck that! Oh well, gotta know him in Lou!
-
DeadliestWarrior34I wish I knew what the rules were for this park.
-
BR1986FBFat Boy (Thome) with a double....
EDIT: Replay shows Choo got hosed and threw out his 3rd runner. -
Laley23Im just now tuning in, but did Gomez start this game, or did Carrasco leave with an injury? The box score says Carrasco pitched 2.2 innings and some others say 3 innings lol.
-
DeadliestWarrior34Choo almost got his third out today.

burt07The cookie cutter stadiums were pretty terrible, but at least it wasn't like BASEketball out there, with random garden patches scattered around the outfield wall.
