Their two way game is better and Jumbo Joe is on the decline. -

I agree. But if you said i could have 1 of the 3 i'd go Joe. Not saying the other two aren't elite, but i'd take Thornton over both right now. I know Iginla is old too but it's hard to leave him off the top 10.
I think in a couple years you'll see players like kesler and giroux up there. -
gorocks991. Rick Nash
2. Everyone else except...
1,233,523. Datsyuk

Iggy is top 20.
Kesler finally had a break out year but, will he be consistent enough to be in discussion with these other players?
I saw Giroux coming before anybody else did when he was a rookie. Nobody thought that he would be the player he is today.
I could make a top 20/30 forwards list. Along with a D list and goalie list. -

I just think guys that have been consistent for so long, like iginla and thornton, deserve the top ten. If i'm building a team long term i'll take guys like Giroux, kesler, Kane, etc, but if i'm taking guys right now to make a top ten then give me thornton and iginla over the young guns. they still put up huge numbers and carry their teams -

Ehh. Idk. I would take Iggy over Giroux and Kane though.
The way Kesler has played this year, I would take him over Thornton. -

i totally expect thornton, iginla and St. louis to be off that list in the next couple of years. but right now, i want those three over some guys that might be up there in other peoples eyes -

Raw Dawgin' itThomas > Lundqvist. About to be the 2 time Vezina trophy winner. Also biased, but 2 vezinas in 3 years deserves top spot. I think after the top 3 in each list you could pretty much re-work them, so many elite players
Center is the only one i'd have debates on since i would add/remove some players. -

Thomas could be #1 but I look at who he has in front of him.
Bergeron, Boychuk, Chara, Horton, Krejci, Lucic, Seidenberg>Anisimov, Callahan, Drury, Dubinski, Gaborik, Girardi, Staal.
Thomas was terrible last year but Rask was incredible due to who is in front of him. -
Speedofsandare these penalties for real? the 2nd one is not even a foul in the NBA.
-
chicago510Tyler Seguin is tearing it up with 3 goals in the last 2 games for the rookie.
-
chicago5106-5 game tonight in Boston with 6 to play. Crazy good game, unless you are a coach/goalie.
-
SpeedofsandTampa gets close and the ref calls a bullshit penalty again
-
SpeedofsandIf Boston scores I hope Tampa starts throwing sucker punches like Boston did in game 1
-
End of LineSeguin was a BEAST tonight.
-
gorocks99He was great, but Boston still has issues to work through if they want to win this series. Where's the defense? Tampa is getting a lot of shots on Thomas, and he can let in a softie or two (while making amazing saves at the same time)

They get complacent from time to time and Tampa has capitalized. -
