  LOL. I remember the outside corner was actually the white line of the left handed batters box...which I believe is 5 inches off the plate.

  BRF remembers back in 1963 when the Tribe hit 4 homers in a row. Woody Held in the 8 hole, the pitcher Pedro Ramos, then to the top of the order by my man Tito Francona, followed by Larry Brown. There are Soooooo many great trivia questions to ask on all the stuff that has been posted on this thread!

  Yup I remember this. Pedro Ramos went yard many times for the Indians.

  Thanks for posting this. The only thing missing is Hammy's call. That home run capped off a 4 game sweep and catapulted the tribe to a 20 game lead I think...or thereabouts. The A's had taken the lead in the top half of the 12th....and Manny fouled off 4 or 5 pitches with 2 strikes on him before unloading.
  
  Hammy always has great calls on tribe homers...especially back then. But that one was really special. He could barely audiblize "Gone"....and then Hammy sat silenced for over a minute...all you could here were the screaming fans in the back ground.
