Hilarious
I have no idea what the ramifications of this could be though. -
Azubuike24This is crazy, especially if it can be verified with footage.
Even though it sounds harmless, betting on our team while sitting at the game, on the bench, with a fan right there is...well...stupid. -
like_thatIt would be ok if it was some type of friendly bet, that didn't involve money.
I remember a few years ago when Mike Cameron played for the Mets, he made a bet with an Expos fan that had been heckling him the entire series. Cameron bet him that he would hit a HR at that day's game, and if he did the fan had to leave his front row seat and go all the way to the upper deck of the empty expos stadium. Cameron hit a HR, and when he was on deck for the next at bat, the fan told him he was going to leave his seat, but cameron told him to sit down and watch his next a bat, which was another HR lol. -
Azubuike24This one clearly stated money was exchanged and can possibly be proven with footage. Pretty damning if that's the case, even if it's $25 or $5.

NateI think it sounds cool to me.

Scarlet_BuckeyeWas this the best decision? No. Is it cool and funny? Yeah. I hope Turco doesn't get into too much trouble for this, but this was pretty cool and paints Turco to be a pretty cool guy.

End of LinePretty funny but not a great idea. Turco has been pretty funny while on the bench this year.
