Manchester United @ Chelsea

Currently airing on FSC. Chelsea has virtually no shot at the title right now, but pulling for them so the gunners can keep this a close race with ManU.

Good game thus far. Up and down, with Chelsea looking the better squad. Torres came to play today as well.

It's still a big game but it would have been a lot better if they could have played this one back when it was cancelled due to weather, Chelsea was a lot closer then.

Yeah, within 3 I think. This is bigger for the teams in front of Chelsea than it is for Chelsea. Though, the Champions League is still up for grabs, and they cant be losing too many games, even if it is to ManU. So this is huge in that regard.

    roooooooooneyyyy

Ivanovic just douched himself out of the equalizer lol.

And Chelsea defense? What the fuck was that? Cant let Rooney just walk around with the ball 20 yards from goal!
  • Laley23
Holy smokes! What a strike by David Luiz!

Chelsea up 2-1 on the Lampard PK

Chelsea have given life to ManCity, Arsenal, et al. Now they just have to keep it alive for 4 minutes.

Vidic gone. Second yellow. Will miss the Liverpool match.

Chelsea wins 2-1. Big, big win for the rest of the EPL by Chelsea.

Arsenal has a very favorable upcoming schedule. Next 4 league matches have Sunderland and Blackburn at home, West Brom and Blackpool away. The last 3 of them are all 14th or lower in the league table. Gotta take advantage, even without Van Persie or Theo (for at least a couple of the matches).

    Is Cesc gonna be back?

And switching gears, towards the Arsenal-Barca match next week. Arsenal is going to be without Walcott or RVP, and maybe Cesc. Gonna be tough for them, even if Carles and Gerard are missing in the Barca back-line.

I watched the replay last night and that was a poorly officiated match. United got screwed on several calls and Luiz should have been sent off.

It was a blatant elbow. He should have been suspended.

Spurs and the title? lol...yeah that will happen. I'd concentrate on finishing top 4 again.

Gunners have a late season Premiere League fixture with Man U if I am not mistaken....if things play out, that could be a match to decide the EPL.

Arsenal hoping to have Fabregas and RVP back before too long...RVP was absolutely on-fire before he went down. In fact, that volley where he scored in the Carling Cup final was a thing of beauty...all for nought as it turned out.

    OK, what ever you say.

It was a blatant trip which should have been a second yellow and a sending off on Luiz.

Agree, Rooney was very lucky to be playing yesterday.

well if you believe it, why didn't you mention in your first post that rooney was lucky as well? I mean you did say the match was officiated poorly, but yet you didn't even mention the bullshit no-call that was the rooney elbow.

The elbow happened against Wigan, which would have had him suspended against Chelsea if action was taken.
