My bad he weighed in at 229. 219 may have been his listed weight last year. Not sure. -

McElroy will be able to pick any NFL job he wants within 20 years, whether it's as an NFL GM or coach. -
karen lotzhahaha well now I'm thoroughly confused. Either way 219 or 229 is still small. I would have never guessed he was that light.

He could probably get an analyst's job at ESPN today. They had him on pretty much every show on TV/Radio the week of the BCS NC game and he sounded like he had been doing it for 15 years already. -

He's obviously a bright guy, played QB at Alabama, is a good looking guy, well spoken, overachiever at QB and his dad is an executive for Jerry Jones. The last part is the most integral, but all the other aspects will help him along the way. -

He was around 224 during his senior season, and he weighed in at 228 at the Senior Bowl.
He's small and compact, being around 5'10, that's why he doesn't look like he's 228. -
LJWhy didn't Cam Heyward do anything?

LMAO, where does this guy come up with this garbage? Since the guy is smart and his daddy works in the NFL that means he'll be a great GM/coach? Obviously worked out well for Ken Dorsey /sarcasm. Why aren't the barging down Kirk Herbstreit's door? Nice reach fail. IPOTW. -
Hb31187Neither of those you mentioned had fathers with NFL connects? Herbys dad was an OSU assistant and Dorseys dad i cant even find anything on so he must of been much of anything

Nice. OSU sure is losing some nice physical specimans on the defensive side of the ball. -
Hb31187How does he run a 4.3 and get burnt consistently haha

bad hips maybe? -
OneBuckeyeHb31187;695740 wrote:How does he run a 4.3 and get burnt consistently haha
He doesn't get burnt he just never turns around and finds the ball. Thus he sticks his hand out at the last second and its a crapshoot from there. -

really bad footwork and if i'm correct he's got a bum hip. if he gets that corrected in the NFL he's a beast. without looking it up i assume he had an average at best cone drill time. -

I don't think he ran it yet... -
Hb31187I didnt know he had a literal bad hip. Yeah if he gets it corrected he might be another top of the line OSU cb in the NFL

thavoiceDifference between speed and being able to cover someone. He can fall for a fake....not be in the right position...poor technique...etc....many ways a fast DB can get beat deep. Sometimes guys with great speed dont practice good technique and that is the difference.....bad reads on the routes being ran can help a fast db get beat alot
-
j_crazythe lingering hip injury thing goes back to spring of 2009. maybe before that but i seem to recall he missed a lot of time because of it during his sophomore and junior seasons.
-
karen lotzBuster Skrine ran a 4.29. Patrick Peterson ran a 4.32 at 219 pounds.

That may have bumped him up out of the Browns range. -
