By "promotion" I didn't mean MLB promotion, I mean that they are considering moving Harper to either high A ball or AA

I knew what you meant, I just wasn't sure what level he was currently at. Obviously I knew he wasn't being called up to the Nationals.

That's what I figured, but I remembered we had a conversation at the start of the season where I suggested that Harper should be in the big leagues by September. Didn't know if you thought I was moving up my due date.

(I don't think the Natinals will call him up in September, but if he hits like this at AA, there is no reason not to. Aside from protecting his arbitration clock)

Holy Shit...Cliff Lee is getting squeezed in St. Louis.
  • Tiger2003
Damn it is sickening to watch the Phillies fucking hit....
  • karen lotz
Just saw someone tweet Lee has SIX walks tonight? Is that right? He has only had one 6 walk MONTH in the last 2 years.

Braves loaded the bases in the first two innings with 1 out and failed to score. They have to lead the league in that category.

Yah he had 6 walks. He only had 7 walks on the year going into today's game. Everything was high and wasn't getting the corners. On K zone on ESPN he threw 3 straight strikes to Holliday and they were all called balls. On the 3-2 count it was right down the middle and the Ump called ball 4. Lee came close to getting tossed.

But it's more the offense then anything. Even with all those walk the Phills only scratched out 4 hits against a shitty Westbrook. When nobody is getting on in front of Howard they can throw him 12 straight balls like they did tonight. Letting Jayson walk to the Nats is finally coming around to hurt the offense.

Is Victorino still out? If he has to miss significant time that will really hurt them.
  • JerseyBuck
Nationals sold tickets to tonights game for $1 along with $1 parking, $1 hot dogs, $1 peanuts and $1 popcorn. Great way to bring fans out.

Yah he was out tonight he said he could have played tonight but Charlie wanted to sit him a couple more of days. Polanco was out tonight with a stiff back but he did PH. Hopefully Brown strain isn't to bad because he was hitting the ball great in AAA. Really wish we could dump Raul Ibanez and his 10-14 million a year.

Yah they have done that before. When I lived in DC I would go to about 35 games a year. You can get row 1 seats next to the away dugout for about 150 a seat.

    150$$. F that.

No kidding. And people wonder why attendance is down league wide. Even Yankee games have a lot of those seats right behind the plate empty.
  • Midstate01
I love the right field seats in cincy and it's only $25.

150 is what I payed for when the Phillies came to town. Never payed above 150 that's actually pretty damn good for sitting even when 3rd base in row 1. Got about 8 balls tossed to me from last year. I also caught a Ryan Howard fly ball when Zimmerman tried to come into the stands.

I wouldn't pay $150 for a ticket in the first row if the reds came all the way to Hawaii.

The Yankees are dumb because they realize no one is ever gonna pay that much money, but they wont switch and suck up the loss on giving back the money to the season ticket holders in those seats. It would be a short term loss, but a big gain long term.

When we go to ball games we sit close. Nothing but the best seats I hate the outfield seat.
