    Front page story on CNN.com right now about the Portsmouth Spartans and its impact on Portsmouth. The team left after a few years to become the Lions.
    An actual positive story about Portsmouth.

    I may be wrong....but I do believe there was a team in Larue,Ohio also

    There was not a NFL team in Larue. Larue, Elyria, Shelby, Massilion all had early pro team.

    Larue had an NFL team in the early 20's. They played under the name Oorang Indians.

    Yes, and he also played at many other places.

    I live 10 minutes(driving time) away.....he used to run from downtown Larue to our county courthouse in downtown Marion
