He's not a hall of famer. He spent the majority of his career with the team that had the most wins in that time period, and he only finished with 240. His career ERA of 3.88 is nothing special. He was a good pitcher, but not HOF. -

He has the most post season wins because of the expanded playoffs. For historical comparison, World Series wins is what needs to be compared. -
fictionreally good pitcher, but never really a very top of the rotation kind of guy. not a hall of famer, but a great career.
