Super Bowl XLV: Pittsburgh Steelers vs Green Bay Packers

I like how you're trying to discredit SI. At the beginning of the season all you hear was Steelers just need to go 2-2 without ben and they'll be fine. Show me these article of people not giving the steelers credit. The pack get more credit cause they made it to the SB with an entire team list of injuries.rock_knutne;664770 wrote:That's ONE person! King is one of very few who got it right. -
NonA lot of people are just picking the Packers because they don't want the Steelers to win again. Not for any sound reason.
It's either Aaron Rodgers will torch them or the Packers will win because I hate the Steelers.
The second one means nothing so that puts it mostly on Rodgers having a terrific game, which is possible but the Steelers have some pretty good defensive players. Better than the Falcons. -
thavoiceI am picking the Packers because I feel their passing attack will be the difference. If the Bears had pulled out the win vs GB>...man I would be all over pretty much guarenteeing a steelers win.
I look at GB to go for what NE usually does to the steelers -

Just posted it for the record.
But kind of surprising it's that much in the Packers favor.
Even if I wasn't a Steelers fan I think this game is about even. -
thavoiceBettting must also be about even as I have not seen the line change at all.

Yeah, but in the celebrity list: http://www.abc15.com/dpp/sports/sports_blogs_national/steelers-or-packers-who-will-win-the-super-bowl-celebrities-guess-the-final-score
It's 52-44 in favor of the Steelers. So you've got that going for ya. -
thavoiceOh cool....steelers have the celebrity vote of confidence. I am guessing of the 96 asked....90 had to be told what two teams were even playing....and probably 45 wondered why anyone cared about a bowling tournament
-
NonI may have said this before but I think a pivotal player in this game will be David Johnson.
Tight end/fullback.
When the Steelers have success on the ground, he's usually a big reason with his lead blocking for Mendenhall.
Nobody really knows the guy. Hasn't received any press this week but for what they want to do in running the ball he must block well and get to that extra defender. -

I agree. If Green Bay wins I won't be heartbroken. I like Arod's game and I've always been a fan of the Packers organization. Of course I want a Pittsburgh W, but I also realize that 3 championships in 6 years isn't an easy task. I'm still confident Pittsburgh will get it done.Non;664726 wrote:If Aaron Rodgers plays as great as everyone says he's going to play, I'll certainly tip my cap.
But I think the Steelers defense is getting disrespected. And they're going to play a lot better than people think. -

Yeah, the Steelers will fight to the death. So in that sense, if the Packers win it's going to take a performance where you'll have to respect them in the end. -
AutomatikI'd really like to have the exact same start as we did against NY. Get the rock first, then a methodical clock, eating drive ending in a touchdown.

You can find the articles yourself, there's this website called google, it's works really well! As for your iditotic injury bullshit, the Steelers have been hit with a ton of injuries too, especially on the Oline, so your reason why the Packers are getting all the pub is dead wrong (as you usually are). -

That raises a good question, do you want the ball first?
I'm usually for the defense being on the field first but that opening drive in the AFC championship game was big.
Imagine Rodgers having to stand on the sideline through all the festivities and then for another nine-minute drive which would be a lot longer in real time.
However, if the defense can get that one stop then the Steelers can still have a long opening drive, get points on the board, and they would still have the ball in the second half.
I say defense first in this game but it's close. -

Defense first.
I wonder iff BR has his hand on that womans ass -
Raw Dawgin' itI think you put your D out first, rather have the ball at half time especially if things aren't going your teams way

Dunce is a noun, in the sentence you used it in "how damn dunce are you!" you use dunce as an adjective (which it's not). Instead of trying to sound smart you should have just put the word stupid. There is definitely some irony here...

No irony just accuracy on my part.......stupid, dunce, retarded........whatever word you want to use, be it a noun or adjective.Raw Dawgin' it;664892 wrote:Dunce is a noun, in the sentence you used it in "how damn dunce are you!" you use dunce as an adjective (which it's not). rock_knutneNice day in the office today. We had a great Super Bowl party and now taking the staff out for an early happy hour over at Atria's in PNC Park.
