Lakers @ Mavs

wildcats20Figured I would keep this one off the "NBA Random Chatter" thread...
A lot of people think Dallas is a strong candidate to dethrone the Lakers in the West. Those people are crazy.
Lakers roll tonight by 13. -
wes_mantoothGo teams!
-
karen lotzDirk still out?
-
wildcats20This will be his 3rd game back.
-
karen lotzAnd they are still on a 6 game losing streak? Yikes. Lakers name the score tonight.
-
wildcats20Yeah and the last 4 have been against the Pacers, Kings, Grizz, and Pistons.
-
wildcats20Oh why oh why is Sasha Pavlovic wearing a head band?!?!?
-
wildcats20Oh nevermind, he is wearing a mask.
-
wildcats20Both teams are playing pretty well, Lakers just a little better right now.
Steve Blake hits a big 3 just before the quarter buzzer and LA leads 31-23 after 1. -
wildcats20Lakers were up 10, got comfortable and stopped playing defense, and now the Mavs are up 1.
Well were up 1. -
wildcats20Lakers close out the last minute better and have a 4 point lead at half.
Pau leading the way with 17. And Jason Terry is doing his usual thing off the bench for Dallas with 15. -
wildcats20Mavs go on a 17-4 run and open up a 9 point lead at the end of 3.
Phil is pissed. The guys were just talking about all the time outs he was calling and I have to agree, I haven't seen him call this many in a long, long time. He just called one with 31 secs left in the 3rd. -

We suck. -

I'm surprised the Lakers chose to be on the losing end of the score tonight. -
wildcats20lol
The Mavs were unbeatable in the 2nd half. -
hoops23Lakers are just going trough the motions. I think LA may lose 24+ games this year and will probably NOT be the #1 seed in the West...
But, IMO, they're coasting, similar to what Boston did last season. -
wildcats20I think once the ASG break hits and some of the guys can take a couple days totally off, they will get back to playing Laker basketball. I think the 2nd half is going to be a different season for the Lakers.

I don't think they will lose 24+ but they will not get the #1 seed, even with SA going on their rodeo trip soon, but they are coasting somewhat. I would like the West to end up exactly where it is today with LA in the 2 spot and Okla city in the 4. LA would draw Denver in the 1st round and the Dallas/No winner in the 2nd round. Let SA deal with Okla City and all their athletes. That team worries me more for the Lakers than the Spurs in the playoffs. But there is a lot of basketball to play and the stnadings will change but that is my hope. -

I don't know...
The Lakers already have 13 losses.
They have 38 games remaining.. 27-11 in that span gives them 24 losses.
