AFC Divisional Playoffs - (6) New York Jets at (1) New England Patriots

The Jets have the weapons offensively to move the ball consistently against the Patriots.

And I think Sanchez has the combination of arm strength and athleticism to either make all the throws or tuck it down and run if the receivers are covered.

But he has to play a great, efficient game with good decision making from start to finish. He can't struggle for the first half and then settle in against the Patriots.

I'd be lying if I said I wouldn't take him on the Jets. That being said, I hate the crap out of him.

    lol....hey justin

What's going on with the BCS Championship vbookie thread? Should all the push bets be losers or what? There is a lot of vcash out there from that thread and I don't know how to settle it.
  • justincredible
Umm...I dunno. The money should just go back to them, right? Create another one of those threads to give people their money back.

Also, from now on make all spreads with a half added on so there can't be a push.

I kinda feel the same way. I really hate the Patriots though

Justin......What are your thoughts on Ryan running his mouth? As a fan, do you like it or would you rather he keep his mouth shut?

As a fan, I love it. It is a refreshing change from the way Mangini was. It's part of what makes Rex a great coach, IMO. Keeping the media attention on him keeps it away from the players.

will do.....already did the .5 spreads

I think everyone knows by now what Ryan's intent is and it doesn't work, especially against a team like the Patriots who know his act. At some point he needs to stop writing checks his team can't cash because his team will grow tired of it.

He's already the best Jets HC since Weeb Ewbank. AFCCG in his rookie season, with a rookie QB. A chance at the AFCCG in his second year as well. It's going to take a lot of losing before anyone associated with the Jets starts growing tired of it.

I'm in the minority but I think the Jets are going to hang in there this time.

The last game things really snowballed out of control but you can't always look at one game and then say that's going to be the same thing.

I see this being much lower scoring.

Patriots might win but more like 27-14 than 45 points.

A stat I just saw that I found interesting:
The Sanchez is 3-1 in his last 4 playoff games. The Brady is 1-3 in his last 4.

Jets just have to control the ball for some long drives

they want to get to halftime still in the game, like maybe down 13-6 or something like that
  • justincredible
A couple 10 minute drives like the one they had against Indy would be great.

Antonio Cromartie is talking mad shit on Tom Brady.

Yeah, that usually doesn't end well. Anthony Smith said far less and Brady fucking roasted his ass on the field a few years back. Cromartie called Brady everything but a white man. Wow.

Something tells me this will wind up being the second straight year Cromartie winds up being part of a meme mocking him after this.

Big deal. John Harbaugh did that in his first year with Joe freakin Flacco as a rookie. The difference is Harbaugh doesn't run his mouth like he is God's gift to the Coaching world.
