exactly every player is a career ending injury away from having to use that education they get for free.rock_knutne;628521 wrote:Some good points on why he should stay but regardless, in this day and age you strike while the iron is hot, what's a sure thing today can easily be unattainable tomorrow. -
BigdoggNot a good business move. You can finish your degree anytime. You can never earn back the money he is losing by staying.

He is already rich, so the money isn't the factor to him that it is to others. He only gets one shot at his senior year. Good luck to him on following his dreams. -

Never met anybody "rich" who didn't want more. -

And when he blows his knee out, his dream of being an NFL QB is over.... -

Which happens what, 1 out of a million times? Willis McGahee DID blow out his knee and still had/has a nice career in the NFL. I can think of one, ONE college football player who would have been a 1st round pick that got hurt and never made it to the NFL - Anthony Poindexter at Virginia, and guess what, he's had a nice career coaching because the program took care of him.
I don't get the whole injury thing..people talk about it all the time as if it is routine experience with little evidence that it actually happens. -

It rarely happens like you said, and many players have insurance in case it does.
