Week 17: Pittsburgh Steelers (11-4) at Cleveland Browns (5-10)

    Troy is a go. Yes.

Browns are going to be fired up and play like this is their playoff game.

But personnel wise I don't see how they're going to fix their run defense.

They'll have to bring up an extra guy and then the Steelers can pass for some big plays down the field.

Emotion and stuff I think the Browns will be ready but I like our matchups.

Browns are going to come out and go no huddle

Polamalu is indeed active and expected to start, which tells me Tomlin is not going to fuck around today. I fully expect the Steelers to step on the Clowns throat and apply the pressure for a full 60 minutes.

I really doubt that this is the Browns "super bowl"...these are overpaid athletes we are talking about here. They will play hard, but I honestly think that the Browns "super bowl" was against the Saints...at least on how the plays were called.

In case anyone missed it, Troy Polamalu is active for today's game.

The Steelers usually defer and I think that's the best move nine times out of 10.

It seems like it's usually important to get the ball first in the second half.

However, I think they should take the ball first in this game.

That way they can't give up an opening kickoff return and also Ben can get the ball and try to get something going, try to get the early lead.

please don't complain about people calling you names and such, when...unprovoked, you called the Browns...the Clowns.

The browns coming out no huddle spread is a great game plan. They know the only way they win is to put the ball in the air.

That's the best way to attack the Steelers with the short passes.

McCoy looks like he can be accurate. I thought he played ok last week but he had the costly interceptions.

They moved the ball decent against the Ravens and then turned it over deep in Baltimore territory.

Hope Troy doesn't get hurt but I'd take my chances with trying to win this game and getting the bye.

I don't think there's any chance this Steelers team goes from No. 6 to Super Bowl even with Troy. So forget that option.

Maybe they can, maybe they can't go from No. 2 to the Super Bowl without Troy but I'd take my chances with that rather than being No. 6 because I consider that no chance this year.

No Steelers on TV here today :(....dammit. My options are go to a bar in Manhattan or stuck with the 5" window on my computer.

There might be an online link.

Jason Worilds is also out. Special teamer. That probably means Larry Foote will play on special teams. He's really had a quiet year after returning to the Steelers.

They're about ready to go in Cleveland.
