Peter Warrick is Back!!!!!

  • goosebumps
Playing for everyones favorite CIFL team. The 2010 CIFL Champion Cincinnati Commandos.

    Can't believe I didn't see this on Sportscenter :)

Also signed former BGSU star Tyler Sheehan, OSU WR Maurice Lee (1999-2002), and former Bengal Derrick Crawford.

Returning players signed so far include: Former UC standout RB Greg Moore, Lineman James Frazier from Brown, Former UC O-lineman Frank Straub, and Former Miami (OH) DB Robbie Wilson.

I made this thread kind of tongue in cheek about Peter Warrick, but if anyone is in Cincy and has a chance to check out the Commandos, its a really good time. Last season every game was dollar beer night with free parking.

So Mauk is gone and Sheehan is now the QB? Where did Mauk go?

I saw Goodie signed with the NKY team in the UIFL.

Mauk may still sign, not sure, they only have 8 players signed right now. I know he was supposed to start coaching at Western Brown High School. He was the CIFL MVP last year and MVP of the championship game. He was very good. According to wikipedia, Sheehan is still signed with the Texans, but the article by the commandos says he's on board with them. I've check online everywhere and no mention of his release from the Texans.

Mauk is hoping to get an arena league gig. I think they start playing in February or March. Not sure what he'll do if he doesn't sign with someone before the Commandos start.

I do as well. The 8 is more like a 3 now though.

Mauk could definitely play at a higher level. I was sad he never got a shot for an NFL team. If it weren't for his injury he'd be a star on Sundays.
