T.O says.........................this about the Cincinnati Bengals

    There's individual talent on this roster, but overall it is not as good as many think. There are a lot of holes on this squad and not a lot of depth. A lot of this has to do with guys who have been busts (Andre Smith,Keith Rivers), over reaches (Jerome Simpson) or who simply don't have it anymore (Carson Palmer, Chad Ocho has lost a step and can't take a hit). The Bengals issue is its two man scouting department and lack of a GM. This has been well documented and has been par for course and has been proven 18 out of the last 20 years.

    Is Keith Rivers really a bust? All i heard was how much talent an potential he has. Is it too soon to label him a bust?

    Maybe a bust was harsh for Rivers, but the fact of the matter is that the scouting dept of the Bengals likely doesn't go beyound what Mel Kiper has to say simply because of the lack of man power. The Bengals get the guys that are high on the "draft boards" of the "experts" but they don't get guys that can play football. Take the Steelers for instance (and I realize they are the exception to the rule). Last week they were getting eaten up by guys who were all drafted in the later rounds on defense (except Troy P.). Why may you ask? Because the Steelers actually have the staff to go out there and look at guys and see who fit their system.

    Didn't I just say in my post alone that the Sellout Streak was over? --- And it's not like Cincinnati is the only city in the NFL that has faced the blackout rule this year so that point don't make any sense.... Also I don't see any other players on the teams that have faced the blackouts try and do the thing that Chad has done in which he has bought the remaining tickets and given them away to fans.

    The Bengals weren't nearly as good as their record indicated last year, and aren't nearly as bad as their record shows this year.

    Though the Bengals fanbase sucks, it's not the worst in the NFL...

    Miami and Jacksonville are definitely worse.

    lol, gotta love how pittsburgh fans thinking every thread is about the steelers. I know you didn't comprehend this, but as i already said it doesnt matter if you guys are 10-3, 13-0, or 3-10. It doesn't change the fact there are punks and thugs on your team.     Just read the police blotter on profootballtalk and the last Steeler arrested was Jeff Reed on 2-4-09. Since then there have been 13 Brown or Bungal players on the list. Nice try like-that but again you fail.

    Harrison is one of the biggest punks in the entire league. Helluva football player, yes, but when you cry about being fined for BREAKING the rules...c'mon man. I, for one, wish he would've retired...he would've saved a little bit of money if he had. T.O. and Ocho are punks - but the Bengals had to know this was going to surface eventually. Frankly, I'm surprised it took this long for T.O. to even open his mouth. For the record, if there are only four Brownie fans on this site - chalk me up for number five.
