Joakim Noah Criticizes Cavs Fans for Anti-LeBron Chant

  • elbuckeye28
It really was a stupid chant because of how great of a player Pippen was. Even the few chants that were pretty good they did at horrible times, like when Bosh was shooting free throws instead of waiting for Lebron. I also think it was ironic how Mo acts all big and tough before the game, yet plays absolutley horrible, but Boobie, who everybody was on (probably rightfully) because he was joking with Lebron, plays pretty well. Reminds me of how the playoffs went for the Cavs the last couple years. Mo just doesn't seem to show up in big games.

I think he missed the point of the chant that even the chant guys pointed out on twitter. It's not a disrespect to Pippen who is an all-time great, it's the notion that LeBron is a sidekick.

As for Noah, despite how tough times are in the city of Cleveland....it's pretty much the end if anyone worries/cares about what someone who looks like Joakim Noah has to say.

Howard Bryant delivers the smack down to Gilbert. Said he is using Lebron as a scapegoat and was ill-prepared for life pre and post-Decision

I'll agree that he should've had more of a backup plan, but this article blames Gilbert a little too much. Fact is he's done a lot to improve this franchise that this article doesn't talk about and is by far the best owner in Cleveland (not saying much I know).

    Quote to summarize article:
The takeaway is that Gilbert is blaming everyone but himself.

I wonder how many posters will call Howard Bryant a "troll"? Read this article and then go back and read the conversation following the Decision/Comic Sans strongly worded letter situation. Sounds eerily similar.

The Browns current ownership can't really be criticized as they seem to be on the right path, finally.

I've said it before, but it's a lot easier to spend money when you are profiting. Let's see how he goes forward now that he will be much more concerned with the shrinking bottom line. I just think the jury is still out on whether Gilbert is a good owner or not. Everyone would be a great owner with Lebron, and he's had him his whole time in Cleveland. It's how he goes forward over the next 3-4 years that will build his legacy.

Not sure if COA is calling me a troll or what, but apparently he thinks Howard is a troll. I summarized the article, yet I'm the troll, apparently.

Not sure where the logic was in that determination...

Make no mistake about it, Gilbert is going to do what he can to get the Cavs back to being a championship contender if for no other reason, then an investment much larger than his stake in the Cavs.....the casino going in not far from the Q. He needs the Cavs to be an attraction so that more people will flock to his new casino.

So what does he do to accomplish that? I know that you can't say for certain, but what are your predictions. How does he go about rebuilding? I really hope he can, because Cleveland needs it. But I would imagine that some would be skeptical after he had 7 years to put talent around Lebron and everyone time he would talk to a free agent he would say, "Imagine playing alongside one of the greatest in the game". He can't say that now and I don't really know what his sales pitch is, other than, "I'll give you more money than anyone else."

The whole Pippen comparison was retarded from the get go. If LeBron=Pippen then Wade=Jordan? lmao....only in Cleveland.

Is it really that hard to comprehend. LeBron wanted to become the GOAT in NBA history. He couldn't win with his own team, so he joined another player's team (wade), and became a sidekick. LeBron = sidekick = scottie pippen.

SMH at some of you idiots over analyzing a chant.

It's a stupid comparison and it should die.

It comes out like a dig on Pippen.....who was the f'n man.

Was he a sidekick or not?

I'd say more like a compliment to MJ. Do you remember how badass he was when MJ first retired? Also recognized of one of the top 50 to EVER play.

LeBron went to a new team, Pippen did not. Wade is not Jordan. STUPID comparison. I can't believe you can't see it.

I'm guessing Pippen wouldn't mind too much being compared to LeBron

    Compliment, sidekick, same shit.

At the end of his career LeBron isn't looking to be compared to Scottie Pippen.

The poster child for ugly had something to say about the Cavs fans?

    The hell you say.
