-
PrescottHines Ward and other NFL players are frustrated with the enforcement of the rules and the bias they think is shown to a couple of the marquee QB's in the NFL.

killer_ewokRavens linebacker Terrell Suggs took the unusual stance of agreeing with the rival Steelers during a conference call with Pittsburgh reporters.
"The league has their favorites," Suggs said Wednesday. "One being in Indy (Manning) and one being with that team up north (Brady). Besides those two, everybody is fair game. Like I always said, (the Bengals') Carson Palmer got his knee hurt in 2005, but there was no rule made. Then Tom Brady got hit in the knee and all of a sudden there is rule and possible suspensions, excessive fines. It's just getting ridiculous."
Did he really refer to the Patriots as "that team up North"? LOL
Anyways, it's interesting to see a Ravens player agreeing with a Steeler. -
bigdaddy2003That is because the two teams share the same hard ass mentality.

Which is one reason I respect the Ravens so much. -
The EqualizerIf the players don't like how the NFL is handling rules changes then the Union should have all their people sign a release saying they understand they're playing a brutal physical game and they forfeit the right to come back and sue the NFL in 10-20-30 years when they can't eat soup. Take your millions, don't waste them, invest them for long term retirement and medical care and allow the NFL to focus all the future health care benefits for the guys who made the league what it is back when you had to have a real job 6 months out of the year instead of laying poolside outside a mansion.

Skyhook79They should rename "Heinz Field" "Cry me a 3 river Field".

Same.
I will always hate the Steelers and obviously the Ravens, but they play football the right way, the midwestern way. Hard hitting, running the football and got a couple gunslingers who can really throw the ball around.
I HATE the NFL (corporate side). -

Anyways, it is nice to see that you took a break from posting "FAIL" and reporting every post on here. But it's okay for YOU to thread shit. LOL. Speaking of hypocrisy...... -
wes_mantoothI really think that Goodall is digging a gigantic hole with a lot of organizations/players/fans with how he has gone about things. I can never remember this much bitching and moaning about the NFL product.

This is true, but at the same time the rules have always been in place, the media/nfl is just making a bigger deal/point of emphasis this season. Remember last season the hit on Bouldin where the safety broke his jaw, was fined, and suspended a game. I havent heard of an instance where a player has been suspended this season because of a hit. Last year the big thing was players being fined based on the injuries sustained to the opposing player, Every season its something else.

Sorry didn't realise I hurt your feelings for calling out the funny statement of "respecting" the ravens so much. -

Oh, is that what you were doing? Sorry, I didn't "realise" it.
Much respect to this year's Ravens squad and the franchise overall, bigdaddy2003. They have been very successful and consistently field a good, physical team. Sunday night should be a war. Can't wait. -

That's because you're so emotional/touchy. -
NonI don't like all of the Steelers talking this week. I guess if they have microphones shoved in their face they're free to respond and give the media something but I'd rather they keep quiet and focus on Baltimore.
-
Commander of AwesomeI haven't heard any Ravens mouthing off, not even Ray Lewis which is unusual. I dont it means much though.
-
killer_ewokWell, Terrell Suggs pretty much co-signed what Ward said and called the league out.
-
NonI will say that they've gotten the raw deal on the officiating each of the past two games.
It was completely onesided against the Raiders and Bills and they were fortunate to overcome it. They won't this week if it's not better officiating. -

It won't ever happen. Sounds good but no way in hell the players agree to that. -
