sad but true. -
zach24ozSo what are the chances of Mangini remaining the head man for the Browns next year? If he wins 7 games, will they give him another year? I would think so given that nobody thought they would win more than 2 or 3 games...but just depends how they finish the season I guess...and if Holmgreen likes the direction Mangini is leading the Browns.

I was uncomfortable watching it. -
NonI can't see Holmgren making a change now. Maybe if they finish 4-12 or 5-11 but anything better than 6-10 I think he stays.

I am honestly more worried that they may keep Daboll...ugh.
As for Mangini, I think the only way there is a change is if Holmgren wants to coach the team himself. -

I would almost guarantee Mangini is around next year, and I doubt there's even talk of letting him go(unless Holmgren wants to coach). IMO, this team is being built and coached the correct way, so I like the direction they're going. -
NonI say they should draft Julio Jones.
He probably won't be a big play, deep threat receiver in the NFL but he'll be more like a Cris Carter, Keyshawn Johnson, catching first down pass after first down pass and moving the chains. -
Commander of AwesomeI want AJ Green, though Jones wouldn't be a disappointment either.
-
wes_mantoothI want Green as well, but not sure he will be there for a 9-7 team.

I would prefer AJ Green. We need that big play guy that can stretch the field. I think Robiskie can be good in the slot, and MoMass as the #2 guy running intermediate routes. Wouldn't hate in the least bit if we had to settle for Julio.Non;585071 wrote:I say they should draft Julio Jones.

That is a valid point. I doubt Green gets out of the top 3. -
zach24ozI really like Patrick Peterson DB out of LSU...I know we need offensive help..especially at WR, but I think he will be a good player for someone. He has good size and speed. I would like AJ Green but I don't see him being around out of the top 5 so Julio Jones wouldn't be a bad pick. Jonathan Baldwin could be a pick later on as well... WR out of Pitt
-
JesterDepends on where they pick and who's available. As we all know, we need some upgrades on the defensive side, and several of them aren't getting any younger. If they do end up going WR, i'd take AJ Green.

I will second that! It feels like we are FINALLY headed in the right direction, IMO, of course. -
shook_17what about justin blackmon from okalahoma state? it says he is a sophmore but i think he is redshirted? i couldn't find it..dude is like 6'1 207 pounds. here are his stats.
these are 2010
102 receptions
1665 yards
18 tds.
his stats are out of this world. plus he missed one game because of a DUI

royal_kI would take either one of those 2........this years' WR class is very deep.
-
se-alumYea, there's going to be a GOOD WR available when the Browns pick, just don't know which one it will be. I would happily take any of the three, but my choices in order would be Green, Jones, then Blackmon.
Might as well throw in Julio's stats:
Rec: 75
Yds: 1,075
TD: 7
Not bad for a WR on a team returning the Heisman trophy winner. -
Commander of AwesomeBox score scouting can be misleading and not trustworthy, other wise we end up with WRs from schools like Hawaii.

We'll actually be facing a pretty good receiver from Hawaii this week!Commander of Awesome;585339 wrote:Box score scouting can be misleading and not trustworthy, other wise we end up with WRs from schools like Hawaii. -

I was questioning the 9-7 part. -

Its later than he's used to his mother drinking during the pregnancy. -
Go4alOngbOmBI honestly think if the Browns start Wallace, run Hillis OUTSIDE the tackle box, and play "ok" defense we can win this game.
The Fins O line has been an issue all season, thus why they are on their 33rd string QB....if we can find a way to exploit this we may have a HUGE day on D.
Also.....if Delhomme starts, its Cleveland -6 to start the game, for some reason he LOVES throwing Pick 6's. God please dont let Delhomme start!
