Should the NFL keep the Thanksgiving tradition?

Honestly, what is the point of moving the Lions if you dont even know who will be good Thanksgiving anyway? You can guess, but when your wrong, its just as bad...might as well leave it.

BTW, Flex scheduling is the only way it works, and to move a team from Sunday to Thursday is just lawlz all around. Wont happen.

How about this for a lineup today:
    Patriots-Jets
    Steelers-Ravens
    Chargers- Colts

Choice A : Lions versus any NFL team

Choice B : Lions vs Boise St
Lions vs. NFL team. The worst NFL team would crush the best college team.

Did the Lion and Dallas not just play on Sunday as well? Who cares if you know a couple weeks ahead of time that you are playing on Thursday instead of Sunday. I don't understand how it would make any difference. Does knowing at the beginning of the season that you only get 3 days rest any different then finding out 2 weeks ahead of time?

I'd bet my house that better ratings would be the Lions vs OSU, Alabama etc than versus an NFL team.

That would be a train wreck. Lions would destroy any of them. Probably 70-0.

Maybe the first time around, because it would be new. But after seeing how badly the Lions mash a college team no one would ever watch again.

Lions would score at will, and would not be scored on more than once.

I know the NFL team would kill them.....but the 1st time would be incredibly rated......after that it would suck...much like the game does now every year.

"Who cares if you know a couple weeks ahead of time that you are playing on Thursday instead of Sunday."

The fans buying the tickets, the stadium staff, etc...and even at the least the NFL teams playing because they know their travel schedule. The flex works because a 3 hour time difference doesn't mean much. It means a lot for a 3 day time difference.

Laley23 is correct. Will never happen.
