Greg Oden done for the year
-
j_crazyI feel bad for Portland. This will haunt that franchise for years.
I feel bad for oden. Great guy hard worker seemingly a great NBA player but his body won't let him perform. This guy is seriously snakebit or he's Benjamin button. -
se-alumYea, I'm not sure "bust" is the right word. He's been good when he's been able to play. I'm hoping he can follow Big Z's path. After all the foot injuries that kept him out for seasons, Z came back to have zero serious injuries since then.

He's been an average big man production-wise when he has played. It would be nice to see him make a comeback but these injuries are so serious. Z had 1 bum foot that was bone related. It was really bad but something you can completely fix. I don't see Oden ever not having bum knees, plus he plays a completely different style than Z. He's probably got 5mil in the bank, hard to feel too bad for him. -

Was just joking. Because it seems like he been playing for 8 years lol. -
j_crazyno one's mentioned it yet, but it's also hard to feel bad for him because he has a huge dong.

No j, it wasn't forgotten...lol -
trep14Its funny. I was just talking to a friend on the phone last night about OSU basketball and the subject of Greg Oden and his health came up. Literally as we were talking about it, he saw a thing flash across the bottom line on ESPN that he was out for the season lol.

thedynasty1998I was watching the NBA game last night and they came on and said, "We have breaking news regarding Greg Oden", and I hate to say it, but my first thought was that he committed suicide. He is obviously very fragile, but mentally he seems to have really struggled with being labeled a "bust" and "failure". I obviously don't know him personally, and hope I have to imagine he's much stronger than that mentally, but you have to feel bad for the guy. And I very rarely will ever feel bad for a professional athlete, but Greg Oden is one guy that I really just want to hug, because he's had a rough go at it.
And sadly, there's really no reason to think he'll ever play again in the NBA. -
Commander of AwesomeOden is a big, teams are desperate for bigs (see Darko). He'll get a contract next year for a team.

He has been average, but he's technically only played 1 full season. Not having a chance to develop due to injury has really hurt him. We all knew he had to improve, especially offensively, and injuries just haven't given him much of a chance.dave;563902 wrote:He's been an average big man production-wise when he has played. sorry jordo..didn't mean to put you there at first
Nah, I was the one defending Conley. Oden is most certainly a bust. He gets even "bustier" when you consider that they could have had Durant -

Right, I knew it wasn't you. But for some reason when I went to type ytown, I typed jordo instead lol. And I really have NO IDEA why. -
CinciX12That is what you get for pushing Justin Cage you prick
But really though, God you have to feel bad for him. He hasn't played an entire season since Lawrence North lol -

Did you see the presser? Team doctor said when they got the news they were all feeling like somebody died, to paraphrase.
