Week 11: Cleveland Browns (3-6) @ Jacksonville Jaguars (5-4)
-
Ironman92Cleveland's schedule does look promising after a brutal schedule so far....but the NFL this year is just silly.......and you better show up vs Buffalo.
Carolina IMO is the only definite but I would favor the Browns in the others. -
Commander of AwesomeRumor is that Fujita is done for the season. This will be felt on the defense for sure as he was on the field for almost every snap. I thought he was really progressing and starting to play very well. I would think this means more playing time for Bernard which he has earned and Bowens, who played tremendous last season.

Tremendous loss, if true. He was/is the leader of that defense. -
wes_mantoothyikes...that is not good.

royal_kHopefully Cribbs plays. He adds so much to the gameplan. It's remarkable they were able to stay with the Jets after he went out. They had a lot planned for him in this game.
If he plays and Colt continues to play at the level he has, they have a good shot to win this.
Also, they will need Sheldon Brown as well. It sounds like both he and Cribbs will practice later this week. -

I only saw this on Fox Sports Net Ohio twitter account. Haven't seen it reported anywhere else. -
grodtThe last I heard he was out "for an extended period of time" but that they were trying to avoid the IR

Same thing I heard. Regardless, it's a terrible loss. He is the leader of the defense and playing at a very high level. -

Cribbs reportedly dislocated four of his right toes in Sunday's 26-20 overtime loss to the New York Jets Jets. His status for Sunday's game against the Jacksonville Jaguars is in enough doubt that the team worked out Smith, a former Pro Bowl selection for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers before a concussion ended his season in 2009. -
royal_kThat is a good pickup. We don't need Hayden getting injured returning kicks, and this may allow Cribbs to just play on offense.....if he's active.

I'm hoping this means Stuckey isn't returning punts, he always makes me nervous. I wonder what this means for Williams, the ex Ravens WR we picked up. -
royal_kI don't like Stuckey retuning punts either. And if Cribbs can't go, Williams may see some PT.
I still don't understand why we haven't seen more of Carlton Mitchell. With his size and speed, and the lack of playmakers at WR, he should see the field. -
ytownfootballHaden did do a nice job returning over all, but I don't want to see him banged up either. Stuckey does make me nervous, but mostly because he had a big fumble this weekend more than anything.

Go4alOngbOmBSounds to me like a Hillis left right center fest! I like my odds when that works out for us!

Agreed, but remember the Browns also lost Yates for the season in the Jets game, and have a rookie as a key part of the OL now. That line was kicking ass before the injury, and I hope they can find the same chemistry with Loavou (sp) in there. -
Commander of AwesomeESPN's first of many articles to inform you that Hillis is not black

I Wear PantsCould see it going either way.
Gonna give the Browns the edge though as they've been playing well. -

I'm surprised there isn't a story about your punter also. -
