  • Non
    Fight is over in Texas.

Pacquiao dominates on his way to the unanimous decision and his eighth world title

Mayweather is facing some serious legal trouble, but I suppose the talks will start up again

probably now or never for that super matchup to take place

Won't be very super. Pac will destroy him.

    *sigh*

You can always easily pick out who doesnt know wtf theyre talking about.

A fight has to actually happen before it can be a super fight and since Pac/May is not going to happen it's not going to be a super fight.

imo if either Top Rank or Golden Boy were not part of the equation the fight already would have happened but Top Rank has control of Pacquaio and GBP is in bed with HBO.
I'm sick of hearing/reading about it anyway......piss on that fight.......give me Pacquiao vs Bradley.

Wrong or not I'm glad Margarito took a terrible beating and his corner let it continue to the final bell.

Pacquiao would flat out dominate Mayweather

But he would have to knock him out, because even if he closed both of Floyd's eyes and just in general beat the shit out of him,if it goes the distance, they would give Mayweather the win because he is there golden boy
  • Hb31187
Haha Pac would not dominate Floyd.
  • End of Line
If Pac/Convict I mean Mayweather ever fought, Mayweather would counter the entire night. It would also be the fight to put boxing back on the map since it is a dieing sport.

Also, what kind of PPV numbers did this do?
  • Hulk Smash
ppv numbers probably won't come out for a few more days.

Rafael says the attendance was 41,734......surprisingly smaller than the attendace Pac's last fight lol.
Never thought I'd see a statement anywhere saying 41,000+ for a boxing match anywhere in America was SMALLER than expected.
41,734 is the 5th largest crowd ever for an indoor boxing match in America.
Pac's star power is truly amazing.

That's how I felt. Dude ate a heaping dish of comeuppance on Saturday.

Another good fight on HBO in a few minutes. Its a live fight. Paul Williams vs Sergio Martinez.
  • killer_ewok
Williams got cuffed. Wow. 2nd round KO.
  • outdoorsman
Laffin and it was a left. Lights out for Williams.
  • Hulk Smash
    KO of the year.

It was already tough for Sergio to get a good fight despite being champ, it will be even harder after last night. He does seem to have the network in his corner though.
