    Just so were clear....

You are saying Hillis is a backup guy on the Steelers??

Against one of the best defenses in the League(if not the best)....Ravens

    Hillis....22 carries, 144 yards, 1 TD
    Medenhall...game 1...25 carries, 79 yards, 2 TD. Game 2...19 carries, 45 yards, 0 TDs.

So in 1 game vs the Ravens, Hillis as 20 more yards than Medenhall has in 2. And on 22 fewer carries.

Oh and Redmen had 0 the 1st game and only 10 the 2nd game. So basically, Hillis has out rushed your 2 RBs in 1 game.

So, a probable pro bowl running back wouldn't start for half the teams in the NFL? LMAO ok idiot nice fail.

So you would have pro bowl rb as your 3rd string rb? nice fail.

No. It's just a shame we cant have a good argument on here without a mod threatening you with being banned.

Then don't chime in with idiotic comments, and actually debate topics like an adult.

He lost all credibility at "an average player that wouldn't start for half the teams in the NFL."

What a dumb thing to say.....smh....thought steeler fans were supposed to be smart. After all, they watch better football. lmao

You are talking about the same guy who said Joe Thomas is overrated.

Really....is he serious? How do you debate with someone as ignorant as that?
  • Art Modell
Like I said, I dont know the rules on here anymore so I cant debate the subject. Wish I could.

Who knows if he is serious. Even idiots from opposing teams would take JT in a heart beat. I do know that Capone can't post without being a troll though.

Proof is in the pudding (although there is much more evidence on this idiot troll, this is just the most recent one):

    1. It's not a good argument when you're basically throwing out inflammatory statements with no factual basis in an attempt to get attention. There are legit things to question about Hillis (four lost fumbles, physical style of play could potentially lead to short shelf life), but for a guy to have 11 rush TDs, nearly 1000 yards AND 50+ receptions on a team that is one of the weaker offensive teams in the league (ie: key on him as he's easily the biggest threat) says that he's easily a legit performer and not some average player who couldn't start on a good team.

    2. You wouldn't be getting banned...just eventually relegated to the Basement forum, which is a great place for people who love making inflammatory statements with no factual basis in an attempt to get attention.

How about you mature up, and stop referring to the Browns as the Clowns, or you just use general respect in your posts. If you want to have a debate over something I disagree with you on, Ill debate until the cows come home, as long as you respect me as a person, and what I say at the end of the conversation, but you lower yourself to name calling, team bashing, and just general 5th grade humor....which makes it less of a debate, and more of talking to the village idiot.

So how about that as a suggestion before you complain about being banned by a MOD...just talk civil, dont call a team names or throw in snide remarks, and I would be willing to bet you would get better results.

Then again this is a matter of common sense......Im just hoping you find some someday......

Lol. You think that Isaac Redman would play in front of Peyton Hillis?

You probably think that Tim Hightower is better player than Adrian Peterson too.

fwiw I'd take Hillis in Pittsburgh any day. He would fit in really nice with the Black n Gold. He and Mendenhall would be a killer combo.
  • Art Modell
He's a good young player but he's going to waste away his career in Cleveland just like Earnest Byner did.

He is exactly what the Steelers are about...bruising, rough type of football....but fuck you, you can't have him :)

Byner didn't waste away his career in Cleveland. He was a drive and fumble away from playing in 2 Super Bowls. Won a lot of football games, including steeler games.
Another post that shows your football intelligence.....or should I say lack of.

And even if there was a reason to discount his career with Cleveland, he also won a Super Bowl as a key contributer with Washington, so it's not like he wasted away his career anywhere. He was close to a couple of Super Bowls with one team and he won one with another. Pretty solid. In reality, if you wanted to make a "waste his career" comment about Hillis, Byner might actually be the worse Cleveland back of the last 25-30 years to use as an example.
