If the Nets beat the Lakers tonight, where would it rank in all-time upsets?

  • burt07
Obviously a very, very, very little chance of this happening, and I know everyone says anything can happen on any night, but honestly, where would this rank?

I think it would make the Nets the odds on favorite to win the NBA championship.

I'm sure there would be a mad rush to bathroom by Cavs fans with woodies looking to relieve themselves.

In a early regular season game I do not think it would rank anywhere being th game means as little as a Broens victory in December.

    Probably around #387 all time.

I wouldn't look at it as an upset as much as I would say it was bound to happen. They're going to win at some point. I'm doubting it will be against the Lakers but much crazier things have happened.

Are you using your personal experience after the Cavs' loss to Charlotte as the basis for this prediction?

Nowhere really close really. It's a regular season game and even bad teams find ways to win games against much better teams.

I wonder how long it'd take Kobe to throw his team under the bus and demand a trade.

About as long as it will take Lebron to win a Championship. Lets just hope that Lebron shows up for the Presser this year after they get sent fishin in the Playoffs.

Oh? So the end of the year? I doubt that, Kobe would probably do it right after the game.

Weren't Lakers fans guaranteeing a championship 2 years ago when they got STOMPED by the Celtics?

    Pot, meet kettle.

Minnesota at 0 7 on the road beat Denver (7-0 at home until tonight). Denver was up 14 points at half and then lost by 6.
