Dumb thing to say by KG, but please Villanueva. You are so soft it isn't even funny. If he fought KG, KG would dispose of him in about 2 mins. I hate KG, but Villanueva would have no chance

What the hell is up with Memphis? I figured they'd make the playoffs this year as a 7-8 but things don't seem to be going well so far.

I'm not saying a fight, I'm talking about a sucker punch. KG certainly crossed the line, but we all know they wouldn't be going 12 rounds, it would be a punch and then some wrestling before everyone jumped in to break it up.

That's why KG knew he could say it and get away with it. Villanueva wasn't and isn't ever going to do anything about it. He'll just post about it on Twitter. I would have definitely at least given a KG a shove

I'm just going off of personal reputation and rebounding/defensive prowess. Villanueva has never wanted any part of banging in the paint/getting rebounds. He has also never really got into too many altercations. Always has come off to me as somebody who only cares about PPG and getting his, other than that he doesn't care. KG has had more than a few scrapes and at least one or two times per year gets into some sort of fracas.

I would define really good as guys that can be the best player on a good team. If any of those guys are the best player on their respective team...said team is probably not going to be doing a whole lot of winning. I think all of those guys are pretty good, but IMO the REALLY good guys are the ones that are among the 20 or 25 best players in the league. Which I do not think any of those guys are.

Horford you'd have to classify as really good because of All-Star status (as in, I think he'll be a perennial all star and not a one time thing like Mo Williams).

But I agree with this post.

    You have these tiers (IMO):

Superstar ('Bron, Wade, Durant, Howard, Kobe)
Great (Gasol, Bosh, Roy, Carmelo, etc.)
Really Good (perennial all stars who don't carry teams: Ray Allen, Horford, etc.)
    Good
    Average
    Eh

The majority of the league falls into the Good/Average category IMO.

The league looks good this year. The top teams look pretty good, as expected. The whole west is going to be real fun all year long. The bottom few east spots will be a good race.

Big Baby is so damn annoying and these announcers have been sucking him off the entire game lol
  • karen lotz
Agreed although he has been a lot more productive than I thought he would be when he got to the league. No way should his fat ass have 9 charges taken already this year. I thought they made it illegal for an off the ball defender to slide under someone like he does every game.
  • karen lotz
Nice no call of the travel on Jesus there before the blocking call.

Yeah slide and not get set for a full count before drawing contact. He slides under while theyre in the air and somehow manages to get those calls i dont get it

I think the Celtics have been on TV every damn night, which would be okay if half the team wasn't annoying as shit.
  • friendfromlowry
Don't worry Big Douchebag if you didn't hook your arm then you traveled. Surely one of those counts against you.

So I was thinking about the Clippers and how they're awful this year again, and I propose this: If the Clippers don't have at least a .400 winning percentage through the first 20 games (so a record of at least 8 and 12) then their team ceases to exist. The stadium is blown up, and the team is split up with the better players going to the worse teams (so the Cavs would be hoping for Griffin or Gordon). Baron Davis is forced into retirement because he's been sucking the life out of this team for years.

    Garnett is such a cunt

Seriously Rondo plays on the fucking Celtics. How difficult is it to rack up assists when you're surrounded by three hall-of-fame players who can score in many different ways?

    What he do now?

Swinging an elbow at Bogut after dunking on him. Bogut gets pissed and shoves him so KG backs away with his arms raised like he didn't do anything or provoke him. Bucks pissing this game away.

I used to think Rondo was wildly underrated when people called the Celtics the Big 3 and he wasn't getting his due as an upper tier point guard. Now I'm starting to lean towards him being a little overrated. ESPN had a poll today about who is the best point guard and Rondo won by a landslide. I'd be hard-pressed to pick Rondo over Deron Williams and Chris Paul, considering what those guys have accomplished playing alongside a bunch of Titos (Except for Boozer and Jefferson for D Will, they are good).

By the way did anyone see South Park tonight? Their spoof of the Lebron James commercial was pretty funny.

I do fucking hate the Celtics....But hes one HELL of a PG. Him and Allen are the only Celtics I like

Edit forgot to quote whoever said that bout rondo

God fucking damnit I want this game to be over so I can watch the Lakers.
