I know what his point was, and it's just not accurate.

When was this commercial aired last night? I'm assuming it will be on again tonight during the game.

I have no idea.I just saw it on here and over on RCF.

I guess Barkely was on Letterman last night. He didnt see the commercial but I guess they ripped him anyways. I'm curious to see what Chuck has to say once he sees it

How was his point not accurate?

Because Lebron didn't leave them in the dark anymore than Dwayne Wade left Miami in the dark. Lebron let Cleveland know that he was going to explore other options and once he did he made a decision immediately. It's the nature of free agency, it wasn't a unique situation to Cleveland. If he would have said, "I don't plan on exploring free agency" and then did, that would have been different. But he was as upfront with Cleveland as everyone else. It didn't stop the Knicks, Chicago, Miami and all the others from pursuing other free agents while awaiting his decision.

While I agree with that, the situation definitely affected FA. A lot of free agents were waiting to see what LeBron did before committing to Cleveland. Had LeBron said at the end of the season "I'm not returning to Cleveland" (which most people feel he knew he wasn't at that time) then the Cavs could've pursued free agents who knew what role they'd have on the Cavs and how much money they could get. With LeBron dangling them along for that much time, they couldn't give that answer to players and therefore it affected their free agent strategy. Not to mention, by the time LeBron signed with the Heat and that no longer became a question, most of the free agents that would fit the new long term plan were gone.

I thought the bigger dig at MJ was the selling shoes for a living and not the empty HOF room.

You really think Nike is going to take a shot at one of their own?

Do you think the donut was a shot at Barkley?

Really don't know. Maybe. But Barkley's not on payroll anymore.

Maybe not, but they failed if they didnt want anyone to think that.

Right. All the more reason #6 d!cked over Cleveland. He knew he was leaving... so why did he have to play it out like there was a chance? Tell everyone you're leaving and let Cleveland go on with their life pursuing their next franchise player instead of throwing the entire organization under the bus as they beg and plead for your commitment.

You admitted that he was gone after day 4 of free agency. WHY COULDN'T HE TELL THE CAVS THIS INFORMATION!!!! He knew he was gone... talk to Gilbert! Tell him. Don't keep dragging it out like a drama queen

I've never seen a poster fail as hard as thedynasty1998 has been failing in this thread. Wow.

So you know for a fact that he had his mind made up? You don't think maybe he was waiting to see what moves the Cavs would make?

Show me where Barkley is on Nike's payroll. Barkley and Nike had a good relationship, but guess what, they broke up and now Lebron is the new girl. They don't give a shit about Barkley anymore.

For your information, Jordan is still on Nike's payroll.

HUGE difference and I can't help you if you can't comprehend the difference.

I understand that Jordan is on Nikes payroll. I dont think it matters as much as you think. The donut is clearly a shot at Barkley, since when is Nike in the business of taking shots at hall of famers?

I'm not going to get into the argument of whether or not Lebron knew what he was going to do. I'm pretty sure that Bosh slip let everybody know what the deal was

"we have been talking about this for months, uhhh I mean days" .........whoops

I don't know exactly what it is, but they were just talking about the commercial on Around the Horn and a shot at Jordan was mentioned. There must something to it on some level.

Plus Bosh basically killed any trade to Cleveland. I think we can put the pieces together.
