    My observations so far:
    1. Filatov is very skilled and has shown some toughness.
    2. Mason had 1 horrible period out of 6. Maybe he's comin back.
    3. Huselius looks very comfortable in Arniel's system.
    4. The PP looks much better than before.
    5. Adios Commodore. He's flat footed, reaches wayyyy too much, and takes stuuuuupid penalties. Souray is available and an upgrade. Go get your upgrade, Scotty. Sooner rather than later.
    6. The 3rd period today looked just like Hitchcock hockey with everyone standing around watching Mason pull saves out of his ass. QUIT STANDING AND GO GET THE F-ing puck!
    7. Arniel has a very nice scowl. Hitch would just stand there like a statue and not show any emotion. This team is centered around young players...show some emotion and they'll follow you.
    8. This team looks much better than last years and when they get Souray, they'll be even better. Sorry, Mike, you are a battler, but your slow plodding style isn't meant for the CBJ anymore. Help Hitch scout maybe.

^^^^The only way I want to see Souray get picked up is through Re-Entry Waivers.

Brass and Voracek have been kind of invisible the first two games.

They have to clear salary space to get Souray and Commodore is the best option to jettison salary. I like him personally, but he's clearly not for Arniel's system and they need more skill on the back line. Don't know if you've seen Souray much, but he's very fleet and has a wicked shot....2 things Mike will never have again.

I think Brass and Voracek draw the other teams checkers. That's one reason why RJ, Moreau, and Pahlsson looked so well as they provide matchup difficulties for a 3rd line. Remember, the Sharks are a very good team, so to play them this tight for 2 games is a step in the right direction.

I've seen Souray play many times before. He's got one hell of a shot. He's just making too much money for the Jackets to take on a the moment.
