In other news, the 2010 Miami Heat look really really good.

Until Wade left with an injury....

Anyways, good to see the Cavs kick some ass tonight.

This thread is about the Miami Heat, no? I guess I shouldn't comment on how scary they look for this coming season. I guess having a positive outlook and being excited about the NBA season means I am a Debbie Downer.

Ok everybody, you can now get back to discussing players who last played 15 years ago in fictional situations. That topic obviously has precedence here

    Correct.

Also, it wasn't fictional...I am not that creative.

    1. It was the first game of the preseason
    2. It was the Pistons

The Cavs beat a better team tonight by the roughly the same score.

LOL, Wes, this was possibly your best work ever.

jordo, get a f'n sense of humor... Seriously.

I guess you are right, but at the same time they did all of that without D-Wade and they beat the bejesus out of the Pistons. The Pistons are bad, but tonight's game gave us a clue as to what to expect

It is tough to tell...I mean, I like the Glenn Rice/Steve Smith combo that the Heat have, but Willie Burton is the X factor.

    What about Rony?

Not to toot my own horn, but I prefer my Milwaukee/NJ Net Stat threads from last year.....GOATastic

He is pretty tough, but I think that as the season wears on...they will look to the youngster....Alec Kessler.

    Also, Bimbo Coles is legit.
