Who do you like and dislike?

On the top of my head..

    Like:

Bob Knight- Although it is funny to see him working for the media
Kirk Herbstreit- Centerville High School alumni. I am a fan by default.
    Tony K and Micheal Wilbon
    Erin Andrews- for obvious reasons
Tim Kurkijan- The little nerd knows his baseball
Mike Ditka- Old school, no nonsense guy.
Jurgen Klinnsman- had to add a soccer guy in there
Kenny Mayne- Has some funny skits

    Dislike:

Trent Dilfer: Bald egg head piece of shit. Thinks he is credible because Ray Lewis won an SB for him
Adam Shefter: Where the fuck did he come from?
Stu Scott: Politically correct pussy. Probably has Magic's penis in his mouth as I type this.
Mel Kiper: Went to a community college, and all of a sudden he is ESPN's most credible draft expert? GTFO.
Alexi Lalas (SP?)- You weren't that good at soccer, stfu.
Brian Kenny- Thinks he is clever and funny. STFU and report the news
Robert Flores- Same as Brian Kenny
Keyshawn Johnson: Can't even speak english

Matt Millen: Not even sure why ESPN thought he would be credible. Best Matt Millen moment was Monday Night Football last year, Browns vs. Ravens. They were discussing how the Browns can turn their franchise around, an they all looked at Matt Millen for his input. huge fail

Dick Vitale and Lee Corso: Package deal. Both acts are getting wayyyy tooo old. Retire already.
Skip Bayless: I am not even sure if he believes in his own opinions.

If it's possible, I like and dislike Barry Melrose at the same time. Like because he's got a good on-screen personality and knows his hockey, dislike 'cause he's a huge Canadian homer.

    I like Tirico
    Love Wilboun
    Matthew Berry
    Stephania Bell

    Hate
    Dilfer, he's an idiot.
    Slereth esp when he preaches.
Mike and Mike and their FAIL show.
Todd McShay who the hell is he anyways? He gets pwned by Kiper every yr.
  • Art Modell
I enjoy Skip Bayless and Rob Parker on 1st and 10. Alot of people dont like Skip but he does the job that they want him to do.
  • DeyDurkie5
John Buccigross...absolute worst person out there
Chris Mckendry....always looks like she is ripping farts during sportscenter
  • Heretic
I'm going to guess a good number of them, since over the last 10-15 years, I've gone from an ESPN-aholic to someone who only watches actual sporting events and avoids most studio shows (with the exception of Baseball Tonight on rare occasions) like the plague.

Berman's basically like Vitale and Corso in that he's done the same act so long that it's stale, predictable and makes me want to make him bleed. My favorite Keyshawn moment was when he used his studio gig to call out TO (with the Cowboys at that time) for being selfish...apparently as opposed to the ultimate team player we all know MEE-shawn was as a player.
  • Laley23
Josh Elliot and Robert Flores are about the only 2 studio hosts I can stand (I think they are great, and everyone else blows a dick).

Its one reason I rarely watch SC anymore. I pretty much only watch actual games/events and then change the channel.

Politically correct? I don't think that is an apt descrption. He is more like the black from the suburbs who has grown up his whole around white people; but once he goes off to college he tries a little too hard to fit in with the brothers.

I don't like him either btw.

I have been saying this for several years...and yet, they still show up on my picture box and annoy me.

If ever there was a parody of oneself that went remarkably wrong, it is Vitale.
His schtick is so thick that any opinion he gives is lost in the act.*

    *See Chris Berman

here's a few off the top of my head

    Like:

    John Anderson...Legitimately talented.
Sage Steele...Too skinny but I still like her style.
Brian Kenny...Solid anchor. I probably like him more on boxing coverage than Sportscenter.
    Neil Everett...Hilarious.
Jenn Brown...Is she still around? I've only caught a little bit of College Gameday this season and didn't see her.
Mel Kiper...I love his insight and analysis on the NFL Draft. Count me in amongst the minority.
Tom Rinaldi...He's probably the best at the feature stories, the human interest pieces.
Chris Connelly...Essayist. Usually delivers a long, heart-warming story.
Kirk Herbstreit...Certainly a little biased towards OSU but he still does his homework and is very knowledgeable about a lot of teams and players.
Chris Fowler...Awesome anchor for college football, tennis, whatever.
Adam Schefter...Doesn't play favorites. Covers the NFL thoroughly.
    John Clayton...Same as Schefter.
Karl Ravech...You can tell he puts a lot into Baseball Tonight. Seems like a good dude.
Jon Miller...His voice is starting to become iconic with Sunday night baseball.
Joe Morgan...Yeah he's arrogant but if you listen to a game you learn a lot about baseball. The conversation is amazing throughout the game.
Mike Ditka....Pittsburgh native always talks up the Steelers even when they're not that good.

    Dislike:

Rece Davis...I think he's worse than Chris Berman. He adds so many little jokes to the highlights and it's annoying.
Linda Cohn...She's not really funny. She just laughs at the other people who are funny and thinks we're all impressed that she likes the Rangers and Mets.
Ed Werder...It's getting old. We know Dallas is filled with drama.
Stuart Scott...I think he peaked about 15 years ago.
Todd McShay...I just tend to agree with Kiper more than McShay.

I always get the impression that Herbi is working a little too hard to be 'impartial' when talking about tOSU. I sometimes think his opinion is a little watered down because he does not want to seem like a homer.

As for Morgan, you have to take the good with the bad because he is a baseball god.

Unfortunately Corso's health has caught up with him.

He doesn't really add much now besides the headgear prediction.
  • Hb31187
I absolutely HATE. Scott Van Pelt and Mark Schlereth(sp)
  • friendfromlowry
You know who isn't bad looking but is rarely brought up? Rachel Nichols.

They're all okay except Berman and Werder. Those two could drop off the face of the planet for all I care.

Has anyone seen Bill Simmons on PTI? Love this columns, but he so far hasn't struck me as a TV guy.

He did horrible yesterday. His columns sure as hell doesn't match his voice.

I cant stand trevor matich the college football guy. Has awful inputs, like last week when he had a segment on how denard robinson's leg strides were why he scored. Well no shit you are faster if you have huge strides.

    Jim Rome is the worse.

I like his radio show. He tries to use his radio show act on TV, and it just doesn't work as well.

His voice is weird. I've gotten used to it listening to his podcasts (which, btw, are pretty good) but the first time I heard it, it was a "whoa" moment.
  • ClayAikenation
Ya know who I like? Len Berman kinda turns me on. Strong, manly man with firm hands.

Ya know who I don't like? Tim Hasselbeck. Not only is he the lesser of the Hasselbecks, but hes bald. Can't trust em.

Same thing here. He's not been on TV but for a few times so I figured he'd be a little rough on PTI, but he did alright for being such a TV rookie. Kornheiser is just fantastic and I think could make anyone look fine on that show though.

I dislike Chris Berman and Scott Stuart. I don't have a problem with anyone else, really.
  • Mooney44Cards
Anyone catch Jay Moore filling in for Jim Rome the other day ripping on Chris Berman? Hilarious. Glad someone finally did it. Dude has been a hack for around 15 years.

Missed it. I don't hear Rome's show now that I work night shift.

However I love The Slam Man.
