Yeah forgot to mention that possibility. I'd prolly just go to one of the games. -

She isn't looking to make a lot of money off of them, I think as long as she gets face value plus whatever fees are associated with it that she has to pay she will be fine with it. -
karen lotzThe site says there is a non refundable $15 fee. Will they charge that fucking convenience charge per ticket in addition to that?

yep, there is a flat fee and then a per ticket fee, just like when you buy tix for a regular season game from tickets.com or ticketmaster. that flat fee they keep even if the reds miss the playoffs, the ticket price and per ticket fee would be refunded for any game not played. -
karen lotzyikes. She isn't gonna like seeing the charge on her card then. I am ordering the tix for her because she will be in a meeting from 7-noon tomorrow.

So is it a first come first serve type deal? When would you know where the seats are?yikes. She isn't gonna like seeing the charge on her card then. I am ordering the tix for her because she will be in a meeting from 7-noon tomorrow.
Just curious -
daveyeah i think it's really stupid how they are doing this. i heard the bleacher seats are gone, so the cheapest ticket is $40 plus fees. If you want 6 tix to all 3 games, 18x$50=$900. You get the refund for games not played in mid October. That's a big chunk of cash to fork over for many people, not to mention most tix are even more than that.

It's just like buying tickets to any other game. You know before you pay. -
karen lotzHow are bleacher seats already gone? Season ticket holders?

yeah, i think they had to hold some back for tomorrow but not much and only top rows. For $5 more view level is well worth it. -
karen lotzI was looking at getting the outfield terrace seats but I'll have to get permission to order those now I guess...
-
karen lotzHow fast do you think all of these tickets will be gone?? The email says they will be available through Thursday at 5 pm.

justincredibleThere were plenty of seats in the Sundeck and Mezzanine level earlier today before time ran out on partial season ticket holders to buy. It was an ordeal waiting around for us to finally get tickets. The guy I bought through had two sets of 4 seats of the 20 game season ticket package. He was able to buy two sets of 4 seats to the playoffs. He had to buy them in groups of 4. He went in the morning it opened up and got 4 seats in section 141, row M. Logged out of that account and logged in with his wife's account. Went to buy the second set of 4 seats in the same row and his card was declined. He had hit his spending limit for the day. He called the bank to clear it up and was good to go. Logged back in and the tickets were back to row S in section 141. He was trying to get similar seats so no one was upset that someone else got better seats. He called the Reds to see how the ticket sale order went and they let him know that they would sell from the front of the section to the back and then go to the next section (142). It took from Friday night until today at about 3:30 to move from the top of section 141 to the bottom of 142. It finally switched over and he got row H.
I'll be skipping this process next season by just buying season tickets when I get the chance. -
karen lotzWhat a pain in the butt. Maybe this kind of stuff explains why the Braves didn't sell out their more recent home playoff games.
-
baseballstud24I would order as many as I could. I guarantee you could make your money back on eBay..Maybe even a little profit. Dick move, I know, but I gotta feed my family haha

She and one of her friends will go to one game for sure and that will be determined by what night the games are. Since she'd be leaving from cbus after work, I doubt she will go to a game on a tues or wed. So there will be 4 tix to 2 of the games more than likely and 2 to the other. wildcats gets first crack at them and then Cinci. If anyone else is interested let me know.
I will take 2 or 4 to any of the games if available. Send me a pm with cost if there are any available. There were 6 of me and my buddies that put in for tickets with no luck... -
karen lotzshit. does anyone have the direct link from the confirmation email? I have the password but can't get to it from reds.com without some other link. Sister is in meeting and can't forward...

sherm03Karen,
If there's any extras for any of the games, let me know. I'd take 2 of them off your hands for any of the games. -
