Making up 8 games with roughly 30 to play is tough.

Reds would have to slump to 14-16 while the Cards turn it around to go 22-8 .

Not impossible, but not going to be easy.

    just signed up........

already told my son, if the Reds are in the playoffs, we are there...scalpers may need to become involved, but nonetheless.....

I was there in 1999 for the one game playoff with the Mets in the remnants of Riverfront Stadium.......literally debris and construction fill surrounded the parking area...we trudged over gravel fill as they were getting ready to begin construction on the GABP.

I was there in 1995 (?) with the Braves....the epitome of underachievers...(sorry Karen),

In 1990, I got a speeding ticket on the way home from my externship to see the Game 1...bless you Jose Rijo and Eric Davis... here you go Fulton County, suck on your $90.

In 1979, I sulked as the "Family" took us out in the first round.

In 1976, I was on top of the world as a Reds fan...

In 1975, I barely remember watching that crazy Game 6 as a 10 year old.

There are only so many years left and I am getting older every day.

    Go, Big Red Machine 2.0

Just curious if you remember the result of the series with the Braves and what happened in the World Series that year?

^^^just meant that the Braves of that era should have brought home multiple championships.

    they were talent-laden.
