I will agree with the part about him being health.
Always seemed to have something wrong

Also, people were split on Koufus. They felt with another year he could have been a good big man. However, he's waaaay to soft to be anything special. He's basically going to be a Mehmet Okur 2.0 for Utah.
Maybe you can attest to that, but the Huddle can't. Most thought Mullens would contribute right away--trust me, I remember laughing hysterically at the threads. And Koufus, Okur 2.0?? He'll never even be that good.

Okur 2.0 would be very good. Koufos isn't in the same boat as Okur.

Oden was compared to some of the NBA greats coming out of college. I never really understood it, and whether you label him a bust of not, I don't think he will have the NBA career that Portland and many thought he would.

mullens=never had a chance nba wise
Who ever said Oden was going to be the next wilt?

Sounds like you're just making stuff up.

And as far as Oden being a bust, i can't see how you can say that, seeing as he's really in his 2nd season, and he's already averaging 11 Points and 9 rebounds, and only playing about 25 minutes a game. Which for a big man, not named Shaq is a pretty damn good start to your career.
uhh, blake griffin will do this anyway in his first year without all the fanfare. so, if you're the gm of the blazers, you're happy with your third year top pick not even averaging a double/double and hes 7 foot tall. c'mon, put the pipe down.

Mullens had little support on the huddle.

Being in the D league does he still make the $1.2 million dollars his contract is for?

I didn't say he would be as good as Okur... Just saying he's like a another version of Okur, but no, he'll never be as good....

I posted on the other huddle that I thought he would be an all star. Looking that way so far. Good for him.

At his age, you'd hope it would click soon. Dude's about 50, right?

"In Sloan's system he'll develop even faster!" He didn't even make it half way through the year and he's in the D-League. He's a 1st round pick and he won't ever be a major contributor, so he's a bust. It's nothing against the young man I'm just telling it like it is. Anyone who watched him at OSU and SERIOUSLY thought he had what it takes to play in the pros had Scarlet and Gray blinders on--the objective fan knew he wasn't ready, and wondered if he really may ever be NBA material. Should have stayed and got his degree, he was a 4 year college player.
Do you know the difference between Koufos & Mullens?? That's an awful lot of ranting for not knowing what you're talking about.
    Snicker.

Do we have a statistic saying "most" of the huddle thought Mullens would contribute right away?

I didn't read the huddle CBB board much, but all I remember from being on campus at the time was nearly every OSU fan laughing about how stupid he was and how he'd never amount to anything in the NBA.
