Azubuike24For an organization that has really made some great moves in the last few years, this one is really a black eye. Waste of time and money. If the guy wasn't healthy enough to play, they should have seen that before signing him.

osu45804Yeah, I guess they were just hoping for a good recovery but this costs the Bengals $7 Million in guaranteed money

jordo212000What the heck? Haha. This is a curious move to say the least

Would have been fine if it was a deal like T.O. got, but as you said, they lost the guaranteed money. -
wes_mantoothIt sucks that they lost the money, but hey, they are trying to put a winner on the field NOW! Cannot fault them for that.

osu45804WR corp is still pretty solid with: Chad, T.O., Caldwell, Shipley and either Simpson, Cosby or Briscoe as the #5 WR to go along w/ Gresham at TE

jordo212000Yeah I love their WR Corp. Shipley and Caldwell are great slot receivers

Agreed, why the organization was interested even before the T.O. signing is beyond me. Dude has played for 4 teams in his career and at best had moments of showing the capability of being a deep threat WR, but there is a reason why the 4 previous franchises let him go. Constantly hurt, strange attitude, yeah, that's worth $7M.
